Nice video. I have a question. Does the rope slip after you descend for a couple of minutes straight? I have this problem with the Petzl ID.

I think that with one hand descending you shouldn't be holding the line with your other hand - this design and way of using it is to have the other hand free to do a job. I know you want to control the braking force with your other hand, but that should be done by your right hand as well. It's even shown in the picture that you should squeeze the line with your thumb, while you're leaving the thumb outside. I guess it's not easy and demands a lot of practice with the device, and that's why it's for "expert only", for people who've already worked with this device for some time. I don't own this one, I'm planning to buy and use it soon, so I'm only guessing all of this. I've just seen a couple of vids of this device and people were able to do it without problems, and well, they all pinched the line with their thumbs. :D Still I wouldn't do it without a proper glove, risk of getting your skin pinched between the device and the rope looks quite real...

Great review, just one question: what sort of connector are you using for your cows tails? Looks like there is enough room to get a petzl ring or a quicklink in that loop with the waist attachment
