Dogwood Canyon Nature Park
We visited the Dogwood Canyon Nature Park near Lampe, Missouri during the Summer of 2020. As a zoo I would rate it at a small 3 because there are mainly just fish in ponds and a few big game in a pasture at the end of the tour, BUT as a tour I would definitely recommend coming at is it well worth the time to see the scenery.

Discovery Cove

We visited Discovery Cove in Orlando, Florida in the Summer of 2005. This is a part of Sea World, but a separate park across the street from it. It only allows 1,300 guest a day so it is not very crowded. I rate it as a 9 among large aquariums because there is so much to do there - swim with dolphins, snorkel on a reef, float down a lazy river, wave pool, Bird aviary and more. This will take up...

We visited Custer State Park near Custer, South Dakota for two days during the Fall of 2019. This park covers 71,000 acres making it the largest state park in the USA. I think it offers as much as any National Park and would highly recommend making a trip to South Dakota just to visit it. This video is a compilation of out two days there. One caution, we visited during the Buffalo roundup and t...

Detroit Zoo

We visited the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oaks, Michigan in the Fall of 2018. It is a large zoo, but does have fewer species than many other zoos its size. However, they do have many unusual animals here especially the Giant Japanese Salamander that you can not see if most other zoos so I would rate it as an 8 among large zoos. I think it is well worth a trip to the Detroit area just to see the zoo.

We visited the Craters of the Moon National Monument and preserves near Arco, Idaho in the fall of 2019. This National Monument is all about Volcanoes and you will get to visit many different types. The only other place in the USA you can see this is in Hawaii. We will take the loop road and stop at most of the sites along it. I would highly recommend visiting this park if you are in the area.

We visited the Denver Zoo in Denver, Colorado in the Spring of 2014. It is a medium size zoo, but then pack a lot of diversity and unusual animals in their 80 acres and I would rate it as a 9 because of this. I think it is worth a trip to Denver just to see the zoo.

We visited Congaree National Park near Eastover, South Carolina in the Spring of 2016. This is an area where you can see what the Bottom Lands look like in a River Valley. The maximum elevation is only 145 feet for the entire park. We will take the Boardwalk Loop Trail around the park.

Because of its unique way of displaying animals I would...

We visited the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic area near Portland, Oregon on September 16, 2022. We will mostly drive along the 130 mile Scenic River Road (Highway 30) built in 1914 -1917. This is the boundary between Oregon and Washington States and we will be on the Oregon side and will make several stops at view points and waterfalls. We visited the Castillo De San Marcos National Monument in St. Augustine, Florida on May 29, 2021. This is old of the oldest structures in the USA. This fort was built by the Spanish to protect the colony here. It is well worth a visit even if you have to wait to get in. Also I recommend going across the street to visit the Old Town also.

Request: 2000 - Orlando - Disney World - MGM - The Magic of Disney Animation
Sorry, but I do not have that video. I do have a video of MGM in 2007 with a 10 second part about The Magic of Disney Animation if you want to see that.
The music sounds like you should be in Salem not the Cape!
I just like the music. Sorry it disturbs you.
Beautiful day, nicely filmed. Thank you!
Yo -- you left off an S in the name of the state in your headline! Oh, and try to spell "Provincetown" correctly, and please do NOT call it "Providencetown."
sorry - spelling is not one of my best skills - Now sure where you said I misspelled Provincetown though?
@@allendearing2584 You misPRONOUNCED it as "Providencetown." Several times. Next video, get a spelling expert to help. We come cheap!
@@tovarisch2788 OH, thank you for pointing that out.
Fun fact- Striped bass another type of sea bass can actually survive in freshwater and are regularly stocked into rivers and lakes in North America.
