Devices like these are perfect and created for the gigging musician. Usually the musician is their own sound person as well. I realize that this may be on a different device, but if you want to sell a lot of of your next mixer created for solo musicians , Can you please create an internal memory that will record all channels independently that will give maybe two minutes of recording time so that a musician can take their device and mix their recorded self virtually from front of house. I realize this is available on bigger mixers, but those mixers are actually run by someone. The people who need it are the people who don’t have a sound engineer to mix as they’re playing? How come no company has done this on this small mixers for the working musician who does not have a sound person traveling with them? Please please, for that feature alone, allowing my sound to be at least double as good and clear and more presentable to my audience, I would buy the mixer. This obviously could be achieved if there was a USB storage to record directly to or a microSD card to use for the storage. Implementing this tool would be incredible. I think bigger companies should consider this untapped necessity for solo artist.

i hear from people that the 2 mic input has analog gain of 40db and 20 digital gain. Im not sure how this will impact the sound. Would it not be an issue if i pair it with BLX288/sm58? I also hear that wireless mic have pre amp and may not require much gain on mixer. Can someone confirm PLEASE!!!!!

This is a very useful little mixer. I have to say for me the main new feature choices for live would be: 1. Phase reversal switches, particularly on channels 1-4, for feedback reduction. Allows far greater headroom without having to use EQ you don't want to use. I currently use male->female XLR adaptors that swap pins 2 & 3 over. 2. Far less battery use by the app! It drains the battery of the device in use like no other similar app. The X-Air Edit app for iPad is way lighter on battery, as is Mixing Station. For an open mic night we need a power bank to hand even for a reasonably recent iPhone/iPad.

The Flow 8 is a great product, it would be nice if you could include the option to tap on any parameter on the app and key in the value desired using the number/ keypad for an easier and faster way to mix.

Is that the right height to listen to this? Probably supposed to be placed on the floor. But in that case the tweeter would be below ear level. So probably better to separate them and the top piece placed on a table top at ear level and the sub anywhere else on the floor.

This would be perfect if it offered record direct to SD card
