The aquatic environment provides a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop midline stabilization.
The particular movement demonstrated here is layered over the Viniyoga foundational breath-spine partnership (inhale with deliberate chest expansion, exhale with intentional abdominal contraction). While floating in the pool, concentration is required to keep the left and right sides of the body working in a balanced action so that the practitioner doesn’t tip excessively to one side.
