A brief video showing how to use the Origin Planes of a part file containing a 3D Sketch, in Inventor, to Constrain the lines of the sketch. This is done without using Include Geometry, and is more reliable than using the automatic constraints placed in "Ortho" mode in sketching.

Just came in to say thank you. Invaluable series of videos really.
Typical Autodesk, you wait years for a feature, get all excited then realise it's been implemented with a fatal flaw. In this case you can't have the instance property on a component in a sub assembly, means we can't tag any of the valves in our shared sub assemblies.
may I ask you how do we export the block and related custom parameters & data ?

Hello! Thanks for a great video. Can you explain how to draw a custom pipe by using parameters? For example I d’like to create a double jacket pipe for chocolate transfer system ( it’s basically water heater pipe) and use it to draw a plant in tube and pipe environment.Thanks in advance
