I am a born + raised New Yorker & as seen from the content posted on this channel, I film public transportation (also known as transitfanning or transitography) just for the fun of it. IRT Subway: Bowling Green/Burnside Avenue-bound (4/5) Train Action
Due to weekend track maintenance, a G.O. (short for general order) caused (5) train service to be split into two sections with one from Eastchester-Dyre Avenue to East 180th Street & another from Bowling Green to Burnside Avenue, via the (4) line.
In addition, some R142A sets from the Jerome Yard were utilized for Burnside Avenue service & (6) trains also ran express between 59th & 125th Streets in Manhattan.
