Shelby Charger 11.54 sec @ 121.7 sec Pump gas with water/Meth injection

Wasn't detonating, it was a bad radiator cap spraying coolant under hood. Had a fuel leak at the regulator that I fixed on the spot.. More to come when I run C16, turn it up and spray it.

Mach z love those
I have one of those I have # 54 of 57 that evening came to the United States up for sale to the highest bidder
Everyone won from the same side of the trail.
Don't mess with thunder cats
Arctic's idea of "high tech" has always been.......bore it out and if that's not enough add a cylinder......
Nothing wrong with that
Thunder should walk away
I remember going to a radar run when mach z were out, easily took too speed at 94mph. This was in Thief River Falls, MN, home of Arctic. I mean considering the dollars invested in each sled you got the better sled easily..
That Cat hauls ASS!!!
IMO the big triple muscle sleds are still king of speed and sound...not only that but their the last of the good looking sleds also...anything made after 05-06 looks like crap.
Mock Chicken for lunch....lol🇨🇦
Hard to beat those Mach Z's especially with the 809 Rotax.
Can't beat those 809s. Mach Z legendary..
Throw a clutched xc 700 in the mix
Why does it have to be “clutched”🤔
3 in a row makes em go'.turbos are lame
Spoken like someone who has never rode a 300+ hp turbo
Turbo sleds are lame, eh? You don't have a Fucking CLUE
I had a 97 Skidoo Skandic that would take both of those sleds! It's the internet. I can say what I want. Actually though I did have a 99 Mach Z and it ran VERY well bone stock. I never got beat and I was at 240 lbs on the sled. Also for durability, I was always crossing my fingers that I didn't blow the engine as I ran it across lakes and punished that engine with hundreds of wide open runs. I never heard of a Mach triple blowing up back at that time so I punished mine hard. Grass raced, asphalt raced while all stock except for the track (asphalt). Oh I did get beat once. A young kid at the grass drags beat me on a hot Yamaha that was very well prepped and he weighed about 140. I lost by about two sled lengths. Those were the days. Lots of fun. But, with all the cheating that was going on, I don't think that Yamaha was stock, but who knows? That's the problem with so many people cheating.
Steering wheel looks great. Nice upgrade. Yes wish I could have heard a rev.
Nice
The mid portion of the video when the tcat just walks is the truth. The tale end of the video looks like he’s not nailing the tcat.
Love the old iron
not trying to preach, but racing on a public trail is usually frowned upon. That's what lakes are for lol.
The thundercat is 17000 in 2020 I don't think there's too many snowmobiles that can take it
That doesn’t look like 2017 Thundercat to me!
You are right I think it is a zr

bullshit!
Had a 98 z 809 triple, piped, jetted , clutched , it was an animal. Never had it on a dyno. Never ran a newer t cat turbo but at the time the z 1000 was the hot sled and it was no match. I think it could hold its own with stock turbos of today, might not beat them but it would be right there
Computer tune on the turbo 4s of today and they're gone.
@@deputy2717 for sure, 300hp on a tune is crazy. I'd guess my old z was around 175 ish hp and that was crazy fast. If the winters didn't suck so much now I'd have the new srx.
@@wickedmainah950 I know. I'm from Maine aswell and the winters are a joke. I remember when we had 6 feet of snow in some areas now we struggle for half that
@wicked mainah If you had 175ish hp on your '03 800 Mach, it either wasn't stock, or you had the only "golden" engine Rotax made that year!!! Most of them were about 155-160hp, right there with the '03 Polaris 800 XCR. Too bad they both dropped the 800 triples after '03. I had a brand new '03 800 XCR that was a leftover in Fall, 2004. Paid $6,350.00 OTD from Michigan Powersports (out of business years ago) in Southern Michigan. Shop owner said I only got that deal because it was a leftover model, and there was no snow on the ground, yet......
@@milojanis4901 it had some work done to it. Nothing radical but it did have higher compression heads, was clutched, jetted , piped and tuned really well. I ran half 93 half 100 low lead avgas. If I was out just doing lake runs I ran straight avgas. Supposedly was safe on 93 but I didn't trust straight pump gas. Dyno port pipes and stingers.
Very cool car. This was the last production of the Dodge Charger in the 1900s until they were continued in 2005.
The mach z has allways been impressive
My Dad got one in 1985. I started driving it when I got my driver's license. The car was stock , I punched it in 3rd gear and it put my stomach through the seat . Loved that car!
Still have mine since 87 with 82k on it same color. Super 60 coming.
Did you just take some of the stuff off a GLHS?
No, interior and exterior are straight from the factory aside from the installation of some additional gauges on the inside. The power train is heavily modified though with select OEM and custom parts.
I have one just like it
Ummmm..... never seen a man 2003 800 Mach Z before. I’ve seen plenty of 2003 1000 twin Mach z’s 🤨. That would make this vid believable then. Unless this Mach Z had a swapped in modded 800??
Mach Z triple 800’s were made from 1997 through 2003. The twin 1000 were made 2005 through 2007. The sled in the video is in fact a 2003 Mach z 800 cc that is fully ported, bored carbs Along with custom pipes.
They didnt make Mach 1000's in 03...
😂🤣🤣😂🤣😂😂 why do people talk when they know nothing
in 2005 the 1000 twin was made
C’mon man be better than that

Very nice!! I have 2 of these. A 1985, and a 1986. Both same color as yours. I also had a 1986 back in the mid 90s. My buddy had an ‘83 & ‘84, both silver with blue stripe. Very cool cars!! Yours looks fantastic.
nice to see the Z out!
It's great to ride when I can. Thanks bud!
Your friend on the TCat probably never even knew you were videoing this, let alone thought you were racing?? Other wise he would have actually raced you. Sad little people you Doo freaks are.... have to always trick people into thinking you won a race??
You're right, I'm such a trickster and he never knew we were racing the four times we lined up..Nor did he see the gopro mounted on my windshield...You got me..*sniffles* :(
100% Agree .. Tcat Driver was clocking doos speed for him thats all.
Yup...too bad about some of the Arctic Cat owners making excuses lol, he should be beating that very old Doo
Just mad cause a $2000 sled will stay with a $20000 sled.
Happens quite a bit. Doo owners seem to take pride passing a Cat, doesn't happen often, but they'll take what they can get. They're the biggest haters on snow
yes I did have one year's, mxz 800, had nothing but issues with it from the day I got it till the day I sold it. one minute it was running good next minute I'm sinking money into it. cuz it would run like shit. so finally I got fed up with trying to fix it and sold it. and said I'm never buying a ski doo ever again. that's why I say they are junk. I'm strictly artic cat and Yamaha now. problem solved. and now I have no problems at all. no sled issues. only servicing them when they need it. my sleds run great..
thats why ya buy polaris
@@nikosavo lol the new 850 polaris are having issues blowing up,my buddies twice already
I never blew up a skidoo triple. Polaris and yamaha yes, almost every time id ride with my cat buddies one those guys blew up. Mostly its the set up and maintenance, good fuel too
that's why the artic cat blew the mxz away. the ski do didn't hold it's own for shit. ski doo is junk as far as I see it. GO TEAM ARTIC CAT.

That t cat was either playing around, or the match wasn't anywhere near stock. 177 hp should mop the floor with that mach. My 2000 mops em up easy. No way this wouldn't.
Mach isn’t stock. Dyno’d over 200 hp
It’s too hard to say that was a good race...lol
@@joemackay5529 No way. I have a 200 hp turbo she hits way way harder then either of those sleds. That 800 is like jumping on my old triple triple from the late 90s far cry from over 200 hp. Trust me 200 hp the odometer jumps from 40 mph to 80 90 in a blink. Your not over 200 hp. Typical 800 or 850 guys.
@@janabarber1691 If you read through some of my comments on this video, you'd know that I did mention that this 800 triple is fully ported (case and cylinders) had bored rack carbs, high output ignition and a custom set of pipes, most of which was done by a very well known engine builder. The sled has been on the dyno on multiple occasions and I have no reason to spread bull. The rider of the Turbo T Cat is my best friend and has been for over 40 years. He put a mild tune in this season and now he is about 1.5 sleds ahead of me by the time we hit about 120mph . My sled which is a true 800 cc three cylinder has clocked 135 mph on ice in 1500 ft and at the time had the stock pipes installed. No bull, lots of folks know my sled. Thanks for the input.
@@joemackay5529 don’t worry brother there always has to be a hater!
Rae birch, I had a bone stock mach z. as well. I only got maybe 106. mph out of it too speed thumb throttle pinned. couldn't get anymore out of it.. there's no way you got 117mph out of yours. I call buckshot.
Wait Eric, didn't you say ski doo is junk? But yet you had one? I call buckshot!! And the Mach will hold its own against a new ZR9000. Been there, done that.
I also have a old mach-z and I was getting 110+ on the lake, and my secondary was starting to slipp then. Wasn't unknown to hear of guys pulling 120+ on mach-z and thundercats in the old days. Maybe your sled had some issues?
Lmao...I don't know what sick machs you were driving...bone stock machs would continually run 118-122 out of the box on ice
@@matthorvath7562 So would the XCR 800. When conditions allow. I once had a 10mph difference in top end on 2 straight days! Got 108mph on a Thursday, and 118 (OK-117.5) on Friday. Conditions, temps, snow, barometric pressure, ALL matter. These are basically racing engines, and running on slippery surfaces.....
You must of had a poor running mach z they should doo 119-125 mph depending on conditions.
Any chance this is for sale?
No plans to sell, I’ve owned it since new.
The newer tcats arent the same, i have a 98 tcat and would probably walk them both!
With all due respect, I’ve owned a 99 t cat 1000 and the new turbo will wax the older 1000 triple. The 1000 came stock with an advertised 175 hp, the turbo is a true 200hp stock. My 2003 Mach has an built by a very well known builder, it made over 200 hp so I think you are mistaken.
Ya I had a 98 as well it would do 118 all day long, but the new turbos go 130 out of the crate, and back then nothing came close, nothing! People used to say oh my formula 700 will do 120, until they went to the runs and barely hit 100 then the 4 strokes came and it took $10000 to get them to go over 120 now they come that way stock
I still have a 2000 T cat with only 3200 miles on it and it's as clean as the day I bought it and also own 2017 9000 RR same motor as new T cat and the RR kicks the old T 🐈

@@chrisbrann2036 Nothing? My 98 SRX ran 125-130 mph in the qt mile on asphalt or a smooth lake and I have dozens of time slips to prove it. It was jetted, clutched, geared and had a bender can, but never had a head off or any porting.
It’s a 3” full exhaust off the turbo which has a 3” swing valve. The muffler is a Dynomax ultraflo. Oh and a stainless header that feeds the turbo.
What kind of exaust is that you should of reved it up it sounds tough!

@@enticer3408 Exactly, Hit 119mph on radar! no boost!
These old 3-holer 2-strokes rocked. Had a Millennium Mach Z with dynoport pipes, VForce Delta's a little "case clean up" and some clutch work, with a stock SC10-3 suspension. Went 124mph on about 2,000ft on "semi hard packed", with my 6'3" 260lb carcass on it. Had a buddy with a bone stock '98 Z with nothing more than the suspension ratcheted down and his 150lb ass that went 130mph on about 2,000ft of ice. They may not make the power that latest 4-stroke forced induction crowd does, but those old triples still had some legs on them!
Shit-That Tcat would hit 117 in a 1/4 mile.
