I’m legitimately trying to understand how colorism impacts the Black community at a socioeconomic level. I”m not seeing any evidence of resources/opportunities being disproportionately allocated, outside of media preferring light skinned women..Yes, colorism exists…. but in relation to racism, it’s like comparing school yard bullying to lynching, economically speaking.
