As a pilot and aircraft owner, CASA are universally despised by private and commercial aviation in Australia.

Definitely get some more knowledge on hangliding rules, licensing etc but for casa to do a legal investigation they would have to inspect your “aeroplane” and you would then very nicely tell them to F off and simply not give them access. Can you trim the wings on the go as there might be different rules/classifications for a fixed setup as opposed to one where it can be adjusted. Maybe even calling it a prototype could give you leeway to experiment. Who knows, but I’m sure by the end of this you’ll be a expert in aviation regulation!
