Disneyland Paris - Beauty And The Beast (1997)
For Paola.
This is one show from 'the vault', filmed with our very first film camera. This is the Beauty And The Beast show as they used to play it in Disneyland Paris in what I think must have been 1997. I am sorry the prologue is cut short, but the rest of the show is complete.
No copyright infringement intended, just want to share the magic with fellow Disney fans.

Pia Douwes participated in a concert called "Music & Motion", to celebrate the fact that the orchestra Soli Deo Gloria exists 110 years this year. Pia was asked to bring a bit of star quality to the show. Here she is performing the song "Mijn Leven Is Van Mij" (Ich Gehör Nur Mir), from the musical Elisabeth.

good question, they have this same show at Hollywood Studios (but it's in English, of course) and it's not like this
+Misskayseeluvsu It was originally, I think both have changed now. I would imagine that 'Be Our Guest' is first because of the lack of 'enchanted objects' as an ensemble, out of context as a welcome to the audience they may have thought it would make more sense. With the popularity of the film (this show opened the same day as the movie) they have switched 'be Our Guest' back.

I love this version. I don't know why i'venever liked Troy. Plus, Tuomas playing the pipes is so awesome.
you are right by saying sharon doesnt have "power" in her voice, but she doesnt need it, her voice is crystal clear and has a nice certain sound in it. talking about stage performance, in my opinion, sharon is one of the best live singers out there, meaning she doesnt need studio hocus pocus to sound great, like 60% of the other singer out there do, while still hitting the notes spot on. this is not a rant, but a "realistic" observation ;)

i want to take my son to Disney land Paris for his birthday in October but it the Halloween time there. He's only for and think he would be scared if mickey and the rest was dress up scary. is Disney land still normal a part from the parade or is it all based around Halloween?

@112keesie Yeah but check out the Rotterdam - Metropole live video of this (which is far better audio quality) where you'll find they're both equally strong and perefectly matched. Sharon's quality of vocals is vastly superior to this, full of power and passion and Anneke is outa this world. What a combo !!
Anneke's voice has got MUSCLE. Her voice with Sharon's light feminine one compliment each other so beautifully.
