We loved this area too but would like to come back in the winter and spend a lot more time in the AZ area. We saw fireworks every night lol there is an area where they allow people to light off fireworks and it happened almost every night our kids loved it! It was nice meeting you as well hopefully we can meet up on the road again some time!

Hello Brenda! Thank you for your comment! We enjoy state parks too. We would definitely do the West Coast differently if we do it again. We also have access to military bases and would probably do a mixture of KOAs, state/federal parks, and military bases in the future.

We stopped for the night and tried to open our slides. Then we noticed that the fridge had fell out onto the other slide and our kitchen table. We were in a little town that only had two gas stations and a dollar general so there weren't any places we could get supplies to fix it. When we call the number to try and get them to send someone out they said they don't have mobile techs. So this video was just our initial reaction of us trying to figure out what we were going to do.

That's a good idea. We run out of propane fast when we use our heater.

@@RollingWithTheSanchezs I run mines all day it is still much more cheaper on the electrical bill and when it gets to hot I shut off one of the little heaters and only run one

Thank you for your comment! We love the area and the KOA! After over 20 KOAs this is still our top stay! Nothing beats the atmosphere and everything Astoria/Warrenton has to offer.

Definitely get that! Thankfully we've had no issues with gaming.

My latency has been around 30-50 ms. Gaming has been decent.

Thank you! We traveled down the whole West Coast this summer. This stop was Richfield KOA in Utah.

Hello thank you for your comment. The center seat in the from doesn't have an airbag only the driver and the passenger seats do.

I think if we would have took 101 and not that road it wouldn't have been so stressful. We loved the drive when we left the KOA through Bodega Bay it was beautiful! That's amazing you've gone back for 5 years! Maybe we need to try it again sometime now that we know which way to go. Thank you for your comment and watching our video we appreciate it!

We definitely missed the warning signs tho... lol I think if it wasn't 4th of July week and we didn't take that road we may have not been so overwhelmed. @@RollingWithTheSanchezs That KOA does get pretty busy in the summer and 4th of July week was probably the peak! Please consider staying again when all the kids are in school! It’s completely different! And there is soooooo much to see! Oh, and the hike to the beach out the back edge of the campground is spectacular! Also, didn’t know they started charging for wi-fi! That’s new!😕. Have a great adventure! Following along!

I use to work there Angela and i stayed in the class a in the back by the dog park. We lost our breaks on mountain view rd. I'm no longer there but it was nice meeting you guys and enjoyed delivering wood to you guys and building big fire's at the pit.
