it starts awesome i think it should've been classic 70-80 min film focused on the satire but they padded it to 2 hours and injected the generic 2nd act conflict in it, and that's not the comedy they also brought in other tropes which should had had movies of their own instead of cramming everything into one i just wanted him to be good at his job and see more stupid situations he resolved

This movie was horrible. Thank you for the review. I totally agree with you. There’s no way I was not going to see this movie because of the actors, but they could not save this movie. It was such a disappointment and a waste of talent. It would be hard for me not to see a movie that stars Joaquin Phoenix, so I have no regrets. There was simply no storyline and nothing interesting happened at all.

There are those who want the truth and then those who want to not believe the truth. If your whole case is that she lied about sleeping with him but she admitted it in the court and the trial is over then you already know it means nothing. Especially when the jury was there and saw all the evidence. They even played Kelsey 80min interview in court which is also available to the public you just have to type it in RUclips. Kelsey clearly told the truth and why she was no longer friends with Megan.

The parts I think Meg went wrong is that she didn’t tell police the truth that night, I get the racial climate at the time but nothing good could come from lying. Second thing is doing the Gale King interview…..Gale doesn’t care about the truth she cares about mess and gossip. Especially if she didn’t want to disclose certain details. I thought the documentary was very well put together and it was quite heartbreaking 💔 Love your review Ryan!

I really thought Naomi Scott did a wonderful job also! The one thing I didn’t like was the makeup, I felt that it should have been heavier for some scenes, those where she is performing. However the way she looked added to that creepy mood of the film! I really liked the low budget mode of the film. I hope they go the series route, but I wouldn’t go 10 outta 10. I’d say 8, something about the editing and the pacing bothered me slightly!?

Shanelle’s attitude irritates me. It’s like the lies and her deep rooted insecurities cause her to go against herself and push away the people who are trying to help her. Before this episode I thought maybe Sally or one of Shanelle’s daughters took JT, but after seeing this episode, it wouldn’t make sense for Sally to want to tell the truth if she was the killer. It would, however, make sense for Shanelle to fiercely protect her daughter. Then if it was the eldest daughter, who is biologically Ebony’s daughter, that would really be deep but make a lot of sense. The very child he once tried to delete through violence and abortion possibly was the one who took his life. I wonder what Mavis will say then, with her crooked ssa.

I thought either Toni’s baby won’t make it or will spend time in NICU which will require Lewis to interact in ways they didn’t plan for, especially since Jax might not be there for the birth. I didn’t consider Toni passing and the baby being adopted by Autumn, but it’s definitely possible. That would make Autumn’s side story be more connected to this major story. Edit: I just remembered in a previous episode Toni said her last pregnancy and/or delivery was hard and I think it almost took her life. Ok you really might be onto something here lol

I think the twist will be if it one of the kids took part in the murder. I also feel like something is going to happen to Toni, I felt that from the beginning. From Lewis disagreeing with the home birth, and now her going into labor early it is clear something is going to happen to Toni, the baby or both.
