Chinese is my native language, and while I can understand some English, my overall level is quite limited. This might result in frequent spelling and grammar errors. Additionally, some of my English responses are self-written, while others are translated using translation software, which might seem unusual to native speakers after reading them. Question 1: If the upper and lower octaves are the same, it's actually the same note, so you just need to play it once with either the left or right hand. Due to the construction of the kalimba, the lower notes used for playing chords are relatively limited. There might be instances where the lower notes for chords coincide with the same octave as played by the right hand for the melody. Ideally, they shouldn't be the same, but this is determined by the kalimba's inherent construction. Question 2: There's an underscore beneath a number indicating an eighth note (half the duration of a quarter note), representing the duration of the note. If this isn't clear, you can check out the related videos about kalimba notation on my channel. Watching these two videos might clarify it for you.

Compare the beginning from both songs and listen to this again, than you should be able to hear it :) The picture in the background is also Yuna.
