EASY Sun Dried Tomatoes in the Oven #gardentotable #gardening #tomatos
I rooted few, the problem with them is you need rooting hormone, strong one and about 50% will take roots even like that
I may need to try that too.
Thanks for showing results. Im surprised after 6 weeks the roots system isnt bigger. I propagate roses and usually by 6weeks there are a large amount of roots. I use coarse play sand as my medium. Anyway, its good to know what to expect not kust method. I guess starting earlier in the season might be better.
Yes. I need to try more options. Life tends to get in the wsy.
Some one gave me a bird bath iam going to try to do this to clean it
Perfect let me know how it goes.
Mine is looking so sad just drooping over. Also have misshapen leaves and lots of brown spots on the backsides.
You can try propagation as backup plan. I just lost my mother plant to scale insects.
Thank you for showing several examples of where to cut. This really helps!
Glad I could help.
I love using fresh chamomile for my chamomile tea enemas.
Good to know.
@@naturebluegardens Thank you. I have loved doing enemas and yoga since 1995 for beauty, detoxing, fitness, health, and wellness.
Is there any additional benefits to drinking it fresh and not dried like you get from the store?
I think most herbs are better fresh but more a matter of preference.
Mine gets covered in aphids. 😔 Do you not have many aphids where you are?
Yes. If you tap them most aphids fall off.
I find it kind of easy to root them, but overwinter of them is a different story.
Agreed
What do you fertilize with?
Composted manure.
Found the channel as I was looking at Birkin plants Was looking too for an update on the ones you cut back and the one you potted. Where would that be? I am zone 9B No Calif. Where are you?
I'm north by Minneapolis. Birkin was doing well and then I missed watering and it didn't make it. Method was good.
Horticulturist here! As unintuitive as it is, plants eat from the top and not the bottom, so if you want to have a more efficient use of your bone and blood meal, you could add it on top of the soil after planted, or even mix it with the first inch layer around the stem! Happy harvest!
I needed this video..
That's about how my two looked. I gave up on Birkins.
Congra😊tulatios?
Thank you so much. Always great to hear from you.
Thank you for sharing !
My pleasure!
Love your apron. ❤ I wear them for cooking all the time. Need to find one for planting.
Thank you for making this video. I've been struggling to find a good video for propagating clematis, probably because, as you stated, they don't always take. Your video shows really good close-up views, and I appreciate the way you explained some of the process. I never thought to just bury the plant. I have a question I'm hoping you can help me with. I'm in zone 5, and this year, all the plants seem to be a few weeks ahead of their normal growing cycles. Would you suggest this same method of using the propagation box at this time of the year? Or should I stick them and leave them in open air? The weather is up & down but hovering around 60F at night. Im in the same boat as you, no greenhouse. Are there any other pointers you could give me to get started? Thanks again for your video ❤ Also, I'm sorry for such a long comment.
I'm going to make another video soon.
@@naturebluegardens Thank you! Can't wait! I'll be looking out for it ❤️
Here you are, your 1000 subscriber, just the info I was looking for , I’m planning to try propagating these too 😊
Thank you. I'm going to do another batch this year.
Can you post the content of what you did after putting the cuttings in water
I did post videos on this. Search my channel under keyword privet.
doesn't look like the president more like like hf young
I am thinking that is possible. I lost the tag.
Beautiful garden, authentic, love colors, delphinium is gorgeous. I live in zone 8, just try to plant delphinium.
Thank you for watching.
I like videos that make sense . About 1 % are able to do this. Just so she is aware
I have two Alocasia plants. They both went dormant and now I have to do what you did to get them back. I love them!🥰
What time of season did you do your hard prune? I need to whack mine way back due to being too big
Right after flower stage.
Beautiful gadern ❤❤
Thank you
What are you dipping the twigs in before sticking them into the soil???
Rooting hormone. Nothing special.
So if I let this grow what do I do then
Once the seed starts to dry mow as usual and it will spread seed.
I live in Minnesota, when is the best time to do this? I see some sites say only late fall early winter and some say in early June to July just after the growth of the year? Great info!
When the new candles form. Right before they open.
Jackmanii...thank you for the information. Got some of these from Walmart also.
It works great.
I just planted the cuttings without rooting hormone lets see how they go
Good deal. Let me know how it goes.
Chicago figs are very cold hardy and will do well in cold weather
What zone are you?
@@naturebluegardens l am in zone 8 and l researched which figs are cold hardy and all research gave good emphasis on Chicago hardy. It can take the weather better.I guess that’s how it got its name.😊l have one in the ground and one in a large pot and doing fine.
ZONE 4!!!!
Will these be rooted? I'm waiting for the sequel video. I also wanted to root it right now.
They will root it will just take more time. I'm thinking end of June They will be ready. Thanks for watching.
The birds sound beautiful
Little wrens want me to move.
DELPHINIUMS....DONT FORGET THE 'L'. IT'S GOING TO LOOK SO FANTASTIC....I CANT BELIEVE YOU LIVE IN SUCH A COLD ZONE AS 4 AND THERE WAS NO SNOW..... WHAT THE......😮❤
For sure
My Bloomerang doesn’t have leaves on lower part. Can I rejuvenate it by cutting it down and when? It’s 4’ now. I’m in Zone 7/8(transitional) and mine bloomed from March to now, mid-April.
Yes. Leave 12/18 inches of srem. Cut away. My follow up video shows the result.
@@naturebluegardens Thank you so much❣️❣️
She isn’t dying. She is just dehydrated.
❤❤❤ very good hello your video
Thank you
@@naturebluegardens But your RUclips channel videos are not geeting enough views. Do you know what’s the problem in your RUclips channel videos?
How often to reapply and what about rain?
Depends. Spring is the first time I have to start teaching deer to stay out. It takes some reinforcement. Rain is not the issue as the powder is not ingested. It simply smells like garlic etc. If I don't get it on heavy enough the deer will eat up to where I missed.
I’ve found I need to reapply every few days.
Any tips on when to transplant or when to fertilize
I add fresh compost to base in Spring. Try not to transplant. Roots run deep and will need 3 years to recover.
Nice!❤
Finding good zone 4 garden channels has been a bit of a challenge for me. I was very excited to find your channel since I also am just outside of Minneapolis. Keep doing what you do. I'll be a very engaged subscriber looking forward to your postings.
Thank you so much!!
How do you avoid root rot / wilting after putting the cutting into soil?
I'm not sure I understand your question. Cutting takes several weeks to root. You may have wilt when you first take cuttings. It should recover. It should not be in swampy soil.
@@naturebluegardens thank you
I love my Alocasia Polly! That little green house is awesome, I hope all the corms are successful! I re-potted mine last year and surprisingly, it never went dormant, I was expecting some leaves would fall off, but no, it remained happy ... knock on wood! 😂
Awesome
My amazonica hasno more leaves now. I repotted it and i will see what happens. Because the roits are still alive. So i hope it comes back.
I have a few boxwood hedges that were there before we moved in. If boxwoods thrive better in acidic soil, should I mix sulfur into the soil where they've been growing?
Yes. But mine are growing in soil with PH of 7 or so.
lütfen Türkçe alt yZı olsun❤
bunu nasıl yapacağımdan emin değilim
I'm wondering if I get big enough containers if I could leave these in the pots and not put them into the ground at some point?
You can root prune every couple years to provide fresh soil. This can be maintained for a long time. I suggest adding some new soil. Root pruning is necessary because the plant will become root bound.
@@naturebluegardens Thank you. I feel like I'm watching a true gardener when I watch your videos. I actually found Spartan Junipers and will be putting 4 of them in pots today. I'll be following your guidelines since you make it look quite easy other than dirt in your eyes. LOL.
@@vickipackham7357 Thank you. Got to leave some of the crazy behind the scenes stuff in. Good for a laugh.
Thank you for the video, didn't know you could do that to plants. I have a burning bush, can I do this at any time of the year or only in the fall.
Spring is probably better actually but any time can work.
