The Indians wasted most of the bison.

Not good for farming..... literally the best farming ground in the country is on the Great Plains!

No, not the way farming is done on the Great Plains--big ag not giving a good goddamn about the land and destroying the topsoil by its use of herbicides and pesticides and monocultures destroying diversity. The topsoil is blowing and flowing away. Fortunately some farmers are learning the ways of regenerative agriculture and ensuring there will be a future to farming there. And bison deserve a part it, too, btw. Check out WildIdeaBuffalo.org and see all the benefits when bison are introduced to the prairie.

I had written a whole paragraph in response, when it disappeared completely. What happened?

This is hugely significant, to see even five or six calves the first year is very promising. How are they faring now, I wonder. Since the old arsenal no longer has a use (thank God) I see no reason that the reserve cannot continue indefinitely.

The "Law of Evolution" is promoted here, as it is in ubiquity. This is not science my friends.Could it possibly be that the Bison were designed?? Could the adaptations, I suppose by beneficial mutations, be somthing supported by fact? If evolution is a Law then it is proven. If it remains a theory, the presumption is here is immense.
