Is it possible to have a fleet in this game? What I mean is one that you can command.

its mining works well of early you have one spot and have a nest or something there as if you're an engineer and have your factory's there make fleets of miners and defense for them then go for the pirates you can 100% the zone with really big ships

it seems i can only build slope armor, is there some requirement to build non-slope armour? Edit: my bad its at the defenses as per your video and not under structures

Very cool! I’d love more input on what’s wrong as others have said and also rundowns on deck cannon setups, rail setups, missile setups for nukes/emps and the reasoning

i have tons of cash and have only cleared 1 system. over a 1million. it's the crew problem not cash or resources. i have been between 30 and 50 short on crew for nearly half my play time in this game. show a quick way to up the fame for crew.

not pro tips.

A barrage of missiles to the side of the first ship - ammo exploded, engines exposed, shields either damaged or destroyed too. Not that much of a good design, huh

if i show you a screenshot of a ship without any interior. can you give me a design what should be where if i tell you what i want the ship to have?

you can do something like a starter guide, like how to expand from the beggining

funny story because my current minning ship also pushes things into stars to take the resources (particularly stations after i do the missions, and sell my stuff haha). but the minning laser and resource gatherer i use to do this with means my crew doesnt leave my ship to mine/gather because it would be death sometimes... also i have a crew role specifically for using the mining lasers over everything else, and another one on general all energy supply, helps the lasers not go down...

How do I send my ship design

As far as I can figure out, the best way to mine is use a magnet and two mining lasers.. (with least people and cleast way~~)

If you really need money, just push a station into the sun, ai ships will also follow the station into the sun and you can loot their corpses as well

I made literally 4 prototype ships before doing an actual ship... I called it "The Cube" Actually, not 4 prototypes, I made several version of the 4 prototypes...

Pro tip: a game that needs youtube videos is a bad game. Just tried the (current) demo, and the UI is *bad.* Really bad. Hints/tips are useless.

The bumpers really saved my current ship design in Career. I progressed up to Level 7-9 system before I ran into ships that were dangerous to me. The Quickdraw ship specifically - It is armed with one Deck Cannon and its strategy is to basically ram straight into your face and fire at close range. I had a couple close fights until a Pirate Base lvl 9 mission came up, where there were two Quickdraws defending the station. Those things kicked my ass, got straight into my shields and blew up my rail guns. I put a big bumper on my ship with armor, leaving gaps only for the rail guns to fire through. That saved me! they could no longer get straight past my shields - I came out of that fight with a couple hundred iron and some coils needed to repair, where before the same fight would lead to my ship being destroyed and usually both enemy ships still flying.

The "Right click to x" in priotities... Howly cow. Iwasted so much time. Yeah im 8 months late but thay earned a sub.

Pretty new...how do you turn on all the weapons and engines in test mode. Not sure how to do that. You also said you would explain WHY you put a disruptor between the lasers like it was for a specific reason but you never did say.

8 months late idc To go further into the station sniping method, you can see how many resources you will exactly be able to get from its trade menu, you can push the ship away by just using the T attack function and setting your ship so that the red ship icon is somewhat inside the station, the station will work against you but it doesnt matter, this is more for early game since with the ship you used it doesnt matter since you just hyperdrived out. Edit: you can sell all you resources and just regain them after destroying it, ofc if you have a reduced sell % with that faction i wouldnt recommend doing it.

Have you thought about letting everyone submit one ship with a price limit and hosting a big tournament? You can put everyone's ship against each other 1v1 in creative mode until theres a winner! Maybe just let them choose if they want their ship targeting modules, weapons or no focus.
