I use to watch cheers as a young kid with my grandpa I was born 12 days before this aired. I didn't start watching cheers till about 1990 good memories my grandpa like Sam mayday Malone

Forgot about this show. I watched it when it first ran. Had no idea that was Matt Letscher.

This segment probably helped "Cheers" a lot over the long run when it rolled out to initially low ratings in its first season before it barely got renewed. Tartikoff-era NBC's Super Bowl tie-in gamble ultimately paid off in the end as reruns subequently drew in larger audiences.

Mr. Levine, thank you so much for uploading these episodes from your excellent show. I adored Almost Perfect and I keep hoping it will come out on DVD. I just watched this episode again for the first time in years and laughed my ass off. It's just as funny and great today as it was when it first aired. Thanks again! :)
