My 15th quartet, inspired by the floods that hit Cork city in early 2014, performed by the Vanbrugh Quartet. The piece casts a cold eye on the life cycle of a flood and attempts to recreate it in music through shifting textures, densities and tessituras. The four sections in the work are Fall, Rise, Breach and Disperse. Alluvio is Latin for "the act of flooding".

Glad you like it. The recording was made in the early 2000s, when making videos was less common, certainly for me. But yes, it would be nice to see the performers too...
But why only two plays after 3 weeks published! This sounds great! Great work by Ties and Insomnio as well! One detail: perhaps more dynamics and less friendly?
Also a very beautiful work and well played. Inner piece, still fun spots. Quitte a story! Great dynamics! You must be happy with such a precise recording! A pity not having a live recording though and watch the duo playing .
