Raised in Everman, TX, in a trailer park across from the projects, David's early life was shaped by diverse musical influences

On the streets, he absorbed the beats of Too $hort, Tupac, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Outkast, Lauryn Hill, NWA, and DMX. At home, he was captivated by George Jones, Randy Travis, Garth Brooks, Merle Haggard, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, Hank Williams Jr., Clint Black, John Anderson, and Brooks & Dunn

David wrote his first song at 5, recorded his first rap at 12, and by 15, mastered the drums. His passion led him to heavy metal as a drummer, and at 20, he became the lead singer of a Dallas band. After touring, David explored acting and stand-up comedy before returning to music. Now living in LA, his heart remains in country music, fully immersed in the genres that made him the man he is today
