I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Jimmy. I wish I had knew about the 聖誔大餐 so I would get here 40 hours prior to my Friday morning arrival to catch the Holiday meal at Hilton. I passed by many times since I stayed at the Marriott over 60 nights on 7 times since it opened 4/18 (which I can’t afford) you know the story.😢. But I can catch it on new year day… honestly, spending the $100 at Hilton or ancaster mill? Which is better without considering the proximity of its facilities. I thought I may go spend the $190 at the buffet at the hot pot buffet at young street again. I Forgot the name of the mall now… I think it would costs a lot less if we don’t have to pay those 13% taxes for that $250… it would be $160 if they still have the half off promotion around 1/8… I know it still a lot of money… but if I get the 象 but 蚌 at lobster port for a pound, the sweet and soup port, the oyster clay pot plus a plate of veggies still costing $190 to $200. I leave with half of sweet and sour pork and oyster clay pot🙏🙏🙏

For a supposedly more upscale Chinese restaurant, using scissors to cut the beef ribs seemed kind of strange. I think a knife and fork would be better. Presentation of the dishes were a bit plain too.

謝謝 Jimmy 分享介紹，豪門宴聞說與鴻福是姊妹店，但豪門宴服務態度不論男女職員均令人滿意，不像鴻福，豪門宴有我愛食的柚皮，有我愛吃的龍𧄌兩味，味道好，唯一此酒樓最大毛病傳菜傳飯好慢，飯菜拎到出來只是微暖，很無癮，希望經理部長門認真改善。現在又是推銷蘿蔔糕芋頭糕時候了，十九元一個柯打，不差。

After reading your comments, I deliberately went there today for dim sum to see how things are. We were not surprise by the mob scene where the regulars just walked in and the manager gave them a table while we, not regular customers took a number and waited for almost 1 1/2 hour and still no table. My friend got so mad and we left. If they serve regular customers differently so obvious and blatant, they should just make it for members only and not open to the public. I know the business is super because there is no competition in that area but when you open for business and you have such a practice, just a slap on the face on Chinese people because my friend is White and he couldn't believe this is happening in 2024 in Canada. All I can say is I was disappointed to see such practice, and it shows 'favouritism' even in a private restaurant setting. They should change their name from 'Very Fair' to 'Unfair'
