I didn't see the smallest roller bearing #217 and flanged washer #216 I think. I'm not sure about its location but I assume it's near the heavy washer gizmo on center planet gear in od drum.

At first I thought your video would actually show the complete overhaul but I FCC e been wrong before and raybestos don't send any guides with their products ( yeah tut hey getting A call trust that) like where the hell does this hinge pin in the spring go? How about the seal under the neutral safety switch ? Guy in the one video could get the li out so he sat there forever prying the hell out of it. So how eww do you replace that?

Hi friend, my a343f transmission loose complete the traction, I just hear a song and it stop. I have open all transmission and didn't find any burn disc. All one-way bearing looks working by hand. Do you have any ideia what I have to check? Torque conversor is in maintenance checking, no issues.

Thanks for this video , even if I'm not going to rebuild a trans, its good info to be armed with when I see a shop for my A4LD rebuild. Was the different wear on the bell-housing bushing, you removed, due to poor alignment of the previous converter and pump??

What causes the seal to keep popping out of the rear of transmission on a 4R44E transmission

I’m a first time builder, uh oh! LOL Anyway, I tried to be very careful to maintain direction during disassembly of the 4R44E but I’m worried I may have lost direction on one or more of the needle bearing thrust washers.... I’ve got the Ford technical manual but it’s not helpful regarding the matter. Is there any way to visibly tell which direction they go? Some have a wear pattern that helps me but others do not. Any advise? Thank you.

when you are having a hard time getting that last pack of clutches in drop that last one down, then as he said turn thre shaft it will move the clutches right in place, if you want you can see where the notches fit together and where they had been hitting to turn the main shaft, you'll know you are down far enough.

if you have a hard time installing the clutches , its hard to explain , I used the snap ring pliers to grab the shaft to turn to work the clutches in place, it worked!

by the way , my transmission had no springs, but a bumper cushion in place, it was in good shape

I did find only the seros were hard amd prittle , got new ones to unstall

the valve body I had traken a picture of it when i reemoved the cover so i'm ok with that. nowever will you find "hairballs in the various valve areas?? Iknow years ago chevrolet valve bodies you would find these . from the friction plates and such just wonering

you need to have that video guy show what you are doing more, not just part of it and skipping around, showing tha side of the transmission and a glympse of the part that is placed in , that doesn't help when I didn't do this type trans. before,

asking, would vaseline work ok , the brand of petroleum jelly?? cheap way.

I learned the hard way with cheap snap ring pliers. Just lucky I was wearing good googles, wouldn't go near any tools without them.

Are the springs of the same heights? I'm about doing same rebuild on my ranger 01 3.0L

Excellent video, easy to follow. Key points: Have right tool for job which is detailed in video. Organization as many parts are directional including snap rings. Prelube parts during assembly, soak clutch discs overnight. Remember you are building stacks so beginners should keep sub assemblies together to minimize confusion of all parts. Keep all parts very clean and no contamination, pay attention to details and work in a SAFE manner. Caution: Sharp edges, must use a Torque Wrench - Aluminum .
