Fantastic. How do you keep the cars running so smoothly, do you have a lot of jumper wires? I had assumed I would need a routed wooden track to get everything running so well.
Hi Andrew, Yes I run quite a few jumper cables, no mater the size of layout I run a jumper every 10 sections of track and also l push a short length of small gauge wire down each side of each track connection, between the rail and plastic track

What RMS do you use? I tried Magic but had some issues
I also had issues with the app-based RMS so I changed it to a computer-run RMS (RCS64) running through the Scalextric C7042 power base
@Slot car Mad ill give that a try. I have a Carrera Digital system and I've been spoilt using Smart race. It's so good

Thanks for the reply, I’ll try that when I next set up my track. The wire idea sounds like such a good one, I never thought of doing that.
Put a video cam on each car so you can each drive in V.R. .stop fckng around...
