Nice garage! 👏🏻
3D print that thing!
Perhaps a 3D Printer should be something I add to my toolbox!
do you still have to do the moisten with wood walls before spray insulation?
@firstonscene1459 From what I understand, yes. The water mist helps adhere the insulation to the surface and helps it expand.
I don't even own a Honda Ridgeline, but I still watched this entire video because of your soothing voice and clear instructions. Now... how did you fit those giant paws inside the door?!
@@brianmcdade4653 🤣🤣 Thanks for watching my friend!
I see you mostly finished the garage congrats 🎉. You should make a standalone video about it how long it took you to make it and future plans with it then you could clue your audience in on what kind of car projects you have and what you want to do with them on the channel. i watch all of your content and im looking forward for more content you could make that video almost raw with minimal editing and your subscribers would love that
@Phil2stroke Thanks man! It's been a process getting it done. Not completely there yet, but close! I'll see what I can do!
Should have taken your heating blanket wrap to raider the temp and put all of that in a yeti or similar beer cooler.
@@RR2-1979 I actually did end up putting them in a cooler with an external temperature gauge. It worked really well.
Your application technique is the best I've seen. Looks like you did a really nice job. Got a question for you, where did you start with the adjustment on your gun? About how many turns out? Thank you
@danofino1273 I wish I could remember! I do know it took me a few passes and a little time to dial it in and get it right. I wish I could be more help!
I'm having trouble getting plastic header off...I unscrewed everything
@ericmcgarrell5687 The gasket may be stuck to the plastic and giving you a hard time. You should be able to gently pry it off as long as all the screws are out.
Nice video !!
Appreciate this vid a LOT. $10 tube of silicone vs hundreds for the HVAC guy; sign me up!
Thanks bro you make excellent video but why they make for very little space?

Can this repair be done to an older model Amanda unit? Mine is from 1995
@@JimSchaller-n3t i can't say for sure, as I'm not familiar with older models. I can say that the design probably isn't too different. Wish I could be more help!
Hi, thanks for the video! what brand and type of cv axle you used for replacement?
@us-nic6121 I honestly don't remember. It was purchased at my local auto parts store.
Before taking handle apart just try squiring wd40 lubricant in lock. Mine had ceased a bit and that freed it up and was fine after 😊
@@MrDreamer60 Great tip! Thank you!
Hi, do you know if can's from can from different brand of spray foam will fit on that gun. Thanks
@jollyjohnathan9524 It looks like they might, but i can't say for sure. The top of the can looks like the great stuff pro cans.
@AdamsWrenchTherapy thank you
Looks easy enough. Unfortunately I don't' have all the tools nor a good place to work on it. i live in an apartment. Guess I have little choice than to let the local garage do it for $600.
Does the Front End need realignment after the suspension has been loosened as shown here?
@@RichardBayer-gy2ey it does not. You aren't taking apart anything that is adjustable.
Great job installing the head gaskets! I have the same engine but with horizontal shaft, what are the indications that the head gaskets are blown. I feel like my engine is overheating a bit, sometimes I hear backfiring and popping. Thanks!

@@TheGamersHaven Glad to help!
Thx! Very good video.
Well just wasted $250 for what. I started as a contractor in 1993 and have sprayed tons of projects. This stuff is no different just doesn't cover as stated. 12 cans in a 10x10 foot wall didn't give me even 2 inches. Waste of time and $$$. Sad I wanted it to work and the crevice holes will probably be an issue now. Won't buy it again
Buy more… 🤷🏻♂️
Damn..........how did you change the O Rings................I don't envy you.........working on a Fit myself........sigh..........Z
I was able to source an actual gasket replacement. Thoughts on silicone method vs actual gasket?
@drewe4462 If you can source the gasket, and it's not too expensive, it's not a terrible option. The gasket would be easier to disassemble in the future if you needed back in there, but it will probably fail again in the future. I would choose silicone for futureproofing, but that's just me. The choice is yours.
I’m a commercial HVAC tech any furnace seal repairs I make on spot I use red pro silicone by red devil. It’s good for sealing any joints around CO and condensation water that may be acidic and it’s very heat resistant
Nice of you to mention the red silicone,as a pro tech
When is the next video we need some more content 😄
Just curious if the coils tested fine then why the test drive? If the issue had disappeared what would that tell you?
@venska9 I went for the test drive to rule it out completely and be thorough. Plus, I got to drive the car. 😎
Sir, can you remove the radiator fan from the engine through the same space that you removed the air conditioning fan? Thanks
@aticafloorable I honestly couldn't say for sure. You might be able to wiggle it out once the other fan is out, but I can not say with 100% certainty.
Why you do not show how you replace that joints?🤔
@@guglegugle8075 The ball joint itself is not serviceable, as it is integrated into the upper control arm. You have to replace the entire unit. 😎
It was fun to see you out there and to shoot photos of you.
This is a great video. Good idea drilling the access hole to remove the allens on the expansion valve. Unfortunately, a critical error was made on the installation. Whan an A/C system is opned to the atmosphere oxygen is introduced into the system. It is critical that the system be placed into a vacuum to remove the moisture now trapped inside the system. Without pulling a vacuum, the refrigerant charge is automatically filled with moisture when the system is charged up. I would suggest using a vacuum pump and attach a micron gauge to ensure a deep vacuum has been reached before charging the system. Appreciate the video. It is very helpful with bolt locations and other useful tips.
Does your lower pipe that is connected to the expansion valve towards you have any sweats or condensation. Mine seems too and i want to know if that is normal.
no, it should just be cold not wet or icy
Amazing
@AdamsWrenchTherapy I enjoyed your video, learned a lot. The inside of yours looks a little different than mine. Looks like mine is leaking from the above of where you were replacing your gasket, it’s that piece that was taped on and Sits on top of the unit in the back left corner. If I could figure out how to add a picture, I would, but I can’t lol. Any idea what it could be? It is literally flooded my closet and into my dining room and entryway ruined my hardwoods.
@@SS-mu8vk I would start by making sure all your drain pipes are unobstructed.
@@AdamsWrenchTherapy Is there a way I could send you a couple of pictures of my unit so you can show me where I need to check? Because like I said, mine looks a little bit different than yours.
Really good video, thanks!
@@MaxResDefault2600 Thanks!
Thanks didn't that was used like that
No Amana furnace for me .. if their current models still do this.
You went thru a lot. All we do is break the ball joint use a compact to crack axel nut lose and bang the axel once. Axel came right out. Using a breaker bar is harder work when u have a impact

@@nunya9367 Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad to help out!
This is a great video. I have a 2008 Honda crv that throws out cold air when it starts and after a while it starts blowing out hot air. Could the expansion valve be the problem?
yes, the valve is freezing over the evap core, you can feel the line coming out of the firewall, it should be freezing
Thanks for the video I'm getting ready to do my 06. Did you use aftermarket or OEM I'm trying to decide which way to go.
Certainly does have a receiver dryer out on condenser. Expansion valves aren't filters at all
You're absolutely correct. I meant to say orifice tube. The expansion valve isn't a filter, it's just the first thing to clog up when compressors go. Thanks for watching and the information!
Apparently this happens a lot with these Briggs engines. Im sick and tired of small gas engines and am going to look at electric. Cost of maintenance is just too high.
Did you pag lube your o rings
One more fail safe I would add: modify the cover at the bottom interior by building up a small ridge of epoxy putty close to the flange. If you notice, the flange is designed with an downward curve where water will always collect. With an interior ridge any future water build up is forced toward the drain hole.
That's a great suggestion!
Great video.
Thank you!
