Bro are you just duplicating the vocal and panning them? That doesn't actually do anything but boost the signal. There needs to be difference between the L/R signal for it to actually widen the vocals. Any subtle width you might be getting is from your sends which you could do without duplicating vocals. Not trying to be an ahole but this is pretty basic stuff my guy

The Waves plugins are pretty neat, man. I'm not surprised that cleans it up a lot. You're lucky you had a decent source because bass can be a mad headache if you don't.. Edit: I have been using Voxengo Boogex to get my EQ on and to also load cab IRs which I can freely blend, and that one's a freebie - grab MSED while you're on that site because it's also free and will take the guesswork out of mid side EQ. I really like Nembrini's suite too, a lot of mastering plugins that are either free or not too pricey. I really love Brainworx Gallien Krueger 800RB vst and the Ampeg SVT suite, but those are gonna hurt the wallet a little. The SVT suite has cab and mic sim built in, but I really prefer Boogex for that.

All DAW 's cpu usage are not the same...although Apple silicone chips are very efficient some DAW 's do not use efficiency cores and results may vary...great video and content...💯👍

I have the cla2a and i was doing research on the UAD one. After watching this, Imma definitely get the UAD version. The CLA just sounds too harsh in my opinion. I like that it has a trim and mix knob but the sound is just not it

Jellz, I can appreciate ur reviews on these plugins.... <-Constructive Criticism-> ... It would help if u would either use some video fx to highlight Active and Bypassed plugin/just activate and bypass each plugin without verbally saying it. Jump from each ACTIVE plugin test as the audio is playing. Or a quick jump cut video edit, of side by side ACTIVE comparisons would also be very helpful.

If I’m sending a verse to another artist and want my verse to be mixed the way I did it would I do all these steps but leave the plugins active?

Great video! I recently got the waves tune plugin. Unfortunately it is not working for me at the moment, been trying to figure out of I am doing anything wrong with it. I am blind so i use all my plugins with a screen reader, and I am using Reaper. Been trying to find someone who might be able to help me out with it as I would probably need someone sighted to have a look.
