Those things were the absolute scourge to us Chevy guys in the late 80s early 90s . Then some Jack ass put a LS in one and they started killing everything that was left . One of the best drag racing platforms ever .

Beautiful car. Some of my best memories are at the track with a notch back 347 stroker on giggle gas back in 05-06 at Darlington Drag Way.

My first v8 in s10 was a ho iroc 5.0. Sad power even compared to 4.3. I just hate running headers around steering. But starter replacement wasn't easy either. Push engine way back and go with engine driven fan and a real fan shroud.
Is that a 4.3 stroker? Always wanted one. Me in 1995 thinking a 400 bored 30 over was something. Couldn't keep cool. And produced 425 hp that would never ever be usable. At 80mph it would do 360 if you punched it. And the first version had no rev limiter so tado. Dang dang dang. Looking back i would stroke a 4.3 and keep weight down and maybe take a corner.
As of right now truck is still a roller with no motor I have a sbc 350 for it. But my other truck on my channel has a 404 sbc and it makes really good hp. Thank you for the comments.

Gonna be sweet ride. Was gonna buy a short wheelbase s10 off my friend. Day before I was gonna but it his mother totaled it. I was not happy, but she didnt get hurt so all is good.

Just don't run from the cops down a winding road. I did. Damn that cop could drift his crown Vic. I could not. But straight away was hitting 170. Thought the fenders were gonna peel off
