It can't be helped, he's a top tier character and people in tournament want to win, they can't just not play a character because people don't like watching them. Just to be clear, I'm not saying the hate is not justified, cuz it is boring to see him everytime, but I can understand why lots of people play him and that reason is to win.

@@didijunior971 I understand and I agree. But to me it's not just that, I genuinely dislike the character. His design and story. GG has by far the best lore of any fighting game but it has the wrost villains imo. If you can even call them villains because Daisuke seems to want to redeem all of them. There's no one who's really evil. The wrost sin was Asuka. Unlike most modern GG fans I've been following this franchise for decades. That man was teased for that entire time as some ultra big boss, I was expecting somone to rival Bizon from Street Fightter or Rugal from KOF, but as it turns out he's just some effeminate magician (who's also a zoner). That's frustrating beyond belief to me Forgive my rant

@@williamingwerson4692 hard mechanics easiest gameplan. The game is designed around him just managing his resources, but if you do that it will be effective against every opponent. the opposite of potemkin, who has easy mechanics, but his gameplan is really hard to execute at high level.

Lucy and Insurgent made the whole show, honestly, GG to both.

PTSD from before patch Nier...people still thinking she can destroy you anytime from anywhere in the screen as previously she could.

Paragon's GG streams are pretty new so they have a viewer base to rebuild. Honestly legit it should probably be a dollar or two into the prize pool to get into the bracket.

Black & white colors pallette were a battle pass color from the previous game. People who bought it back them got it transfered to Rising. It's not purchaseble anymore.

It's a ladder tournament, so those players won their sets that you saw, but didn't have a good enough score to qualify for top 8. InconsiderateRaccoon for example got 9th.
