@@rwoutdoors I’m a retired truck driver so I’m thinking of setting up a sleeper setup from a Freightliner classic truck. The rear area will have a fold up bunk and the bottom will have storage under it with a drawer system at both ends of the sleeping area. And what would be the driving area would be the cooking area combined with the sitting space and goof off area with a potty bucket for those quick storms that pop up, enough food for awhile will be packed like in a tank or semi truck. Basically it going to look like a peterbilt and freighliner interior. Be off grid so no real electric hook up except maybe solar panels ( not sure about that yet) but yeah if it turns out well I have an idea for a company in Pennsylvania to make the parts out of fiberglass instead of wood.

Sometimes if you don’t open the gas vent on these they won’t run because lack of gas. Also could be carburetor needles out of adjustment

Usually not too concerned unless the motor doesn’t pump good water or over heat. Thanks for watching!

Many other people may think a water pump is a mandatory thing to do every year. It is probably good to change it regularly but it is up to your discretion.

@@rwoutdoors There is another important consideration in favor of doing water pumps on these engines. The driveshaft/crankshaft splines tend to rust together when used in salt water. This one has only seen fresh water use though

Yes. Usually when they are cold. Also these older motors require a ritcher mixture of 24:1. Thanks for watching!
