Ian has a good voice,a good energy on stage,a good brethe too here.I miss all that.He was a very beautiful gay too! But i don't know much about him! Can u tell me when he was born,please? How old Is he now in 2021? Is he english,right?

I love The Cult. They are so diversified: fabulous singer, fantastic guitarists and great drummer. Ian is such a gorgeous man you just not keep your eyes off of him. Jamie and Billy are good-looking as well. They are the personification of the "great groups"!!

Despite his charisma and charm, Ian has always been the weakest link here, it must be admitted. Often very problematic live .... almost to say he was bad. He often seems so indolent, just not so much into things. With a band like that behind him he should be energetic like an everexploding bomb.

They sound better live then on the album

Mi 1er recital en un estadioo, llegar a las 13hs con mis amigos y hacer la fila...Para quee tan tempraaanooo jajaj ??? Recuerdo el diluvio de ese dia, habia lonas de plastico en el piso xa cubrir el cesped, la levantamos xa cubrirnos de la lluvia ZARPAAADOOOO, al rato empezaron los juegos ajajajaja agarrar una lona entre varios y uno al medio y hacerlo volar x los aires q lo parioooo q recuerdoooss eso x toda la cancha, el vapor , el olor a pasto mojado, jajaja, despues durante el show trate de estar lo mas adelante posible hasta q en una avalancha cai al piso y se me vino toda la gente encima, un loco m levantó como pudo y safé de quedar aplastadoo. eSO ERA RONCANRROLL EN ESA EPOCAAAAA, ahora todos paradidos filmando y sacando selfies

Fue mi primer recital, con 15 añitos. Todavía conservo el encendedor que regalaban

Las mejores versiones de Sweet soul sister y Eddie están en este show. Pese a que Asbury siempre cantó afónico y/o mal en vivo.

Thank you for uploading this. I'm not sure how I missed this in my many searches for "The Cult - LIVE". This is that very rare, short period of time when Ian and Billy were transitioning from The Love album sound and look into The Cult millions would know about a year later with the release of Electric and then Sonic Temple. This is my favorite period of time for the band as they were still playing songs from the Love release along with songs from Dreamtime but began to ditch the floofy fashion for a more hard rocker look with black jeans, boots and leather jackets. I would say this is the band at their peak. Still hungry for Top of the Pops and it really shows in their playing and onstage presence. Example: "She Sells Sanctuary" at 17:00. The band in perfect sync with each other. Billy's playing improving by huge leaps and bounds at this point as he realized his partnership with Ian was it! The golden ticket to make a living playing guitar. I saw them during this period of time. April 26th 1986 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California with The Divinyls opening. To this day all these years and hundreds of shows later it's the best concert I ever attended. For real. No shit.

que copado macho, todos los comentarios que leo me llevan a esa noche magica. mi 1er recital internacional con 18 años , yo les quiero dejar mi aporte, se acuerdan que el maestro de ceremonias el señor boby flores dudaba por momentos que el recital se pueda llegar a ralizar por la intensa lluvia, que tuvimos que esperar como una hora mas del comienzo del show. mama que cagazo, por suerte la lluvia paro y corrio su cortina para que the cult desplegara su ceremonya y nos mostrara su maquina removedora de amor, junto a su dulce hermana del alma. gracias por estos recuerdos

I still remember that concert! It was raining cats and dogs and people starting picking up the big canvas pieces that were covering the grass of the football stadium and covering themselves with them. Not long after that we were all covered in mud, pieces of grass with dirt and all were thrown around and people started dancing and running in circles, wrapping whoever in that crazy piece of canvas. The show was awesome and we got to see Steppenwolf too. I got home in the early morning after walking to the Botanic Garden to take the 160 bus, covered in mud and grass, my clothes destroyed.

NADIE TE SACA LO VIVIDO JAMAS, el que dice que llovía....ESE ESTUVO PRESENTE A FULL....aaaa otra cosa mas, mi hijo de 19 años se llama IAN...¿ por que sera jajaj? La gente de esos años vivió el HARD ROCK tal cual lo vivían esa banda, ambos se necesitaban , por eso esta banda ama a Argentina....sentían lo mismo...era una comunión... un ritual del sexo la droga y el rocka roll ...INOLVIDABLE.

La banda de Rock.!!! Son mi guía en esto del Rock.!!!! 🍺🍺 salute y Gracias por tanto Rock.!!!!

Una experiencia Imposible de olvidar!!!! tremendo!!!!! La guitarra de Billy Duffy rasgaba el alma y Ian la rompio bailando sacudiendo la cabeza , dandolo todo con la voz!!!! llovio,viento,barro,cantidad de gente todos disfrutando de un show alucinante!!!!!
