Thank you for the comment. I have done full playthroughs of other games before and when I looked at how viewers watched them I saw a huge decline after the beginning of the video and then an uptick near the end of the game. So that is what led me to doing the speed up in the middle. I will see about changing the format in the future. Thank you for watching.

@@merrymarriedmeeples Understood, and I suspect this is a situation for a lot of folks who stream, so I can appreciate your approach here. But just to offer an additional data point, I personally enjoy listening to the "narration" of a playthrough as I watch. It lets me enjoy it as a sort of passive experience, like listening to a podcast or talk radio. When you remove yourself from the equation and it's just the boardgame basically "playing itself", I lose interest. At least that's my own viewing process, and I'm not sure how common it is, but it's why I personally hope you'll post full 1X playthroughs as well. At any rate, I'm grateful to get to see Scott Almes fishing game in action, and I appreciate the work you're doing! Cheers!

@aly-wy8vg you discard the cards to your own discard pile. When you need to draw and your draw deck is empty, you shuffle your discard pile to make a new draw deck. You have a personal deck you draw from each round.

Hello, first off great job with the solo mode. I love how quick and low maintenance it is. I haven't had a chance to play any parks outside of Yosemite. But multiplayer we enjoy Glacier and Acadia because we usually have excess suns and those let us make use of all those.

@@merrymarriedmeeples Quick and low maintenance was the goal! Acadia is a favorite of mine as well.

As Dante ascends the diplomas are printed at each level. Whoever is further on that track when he reaches that step puts their diploma on that colored track. In a solo game they don't address this. I just figured as long as I progressed on a track I got the diploma. Another way is by getting 2 halves of diplomas throughout the game and turning those in for a diploma of your choice.

Points are scored the same as the multiplayer game, although there are some challenges that could affect that. However, in solo mode you use 2 score markers, 1 for during the game and 1 for end game scoring. Your score will be the lower of those 2 scores. During the game you score points by moving souls to the matching level of hell and placing barrels in the supply panel on your board. End game scoring is based on fraud cards you play throughout the game and diplomas. Diplomas score you points based on how far you have moved on the track multiplied by how far that sins track has moved as well. Thank you for watching.

For the passing and rushing cards there are 31 of each (8 x 0 yards, 8 x 5 yards, 6 x 10 yards, 5 x 20 yards, 2 x 40 yards and 1 each of 50 and 60 yards), 4 field goals, 2 of each big play and 4 feud cards (Interception, 2 sacks and a fumble).

I have not, but I can see it working well for solo. There is very little interaction during a turn outside of using the dice rolled.

@merrymarriedmeeples so I guess in the state it's at now you could do solo for beat your own score? I haven't looked at it yet but was going to mess around tonight with it

Yeah you could easily do that. The only challenge there is you would get 2 less rolls per turn when the opponent would be rolling. But you could easily just grab 2 extra dice and roll those.

@@merrymarriedmeeples i have been just playing around with this tonight. getting the feel of the game. i didn't use any achievement, events or goal cards yet but i just rolled a 4 sided dice after taking my actions on all the dice, rolled and removed a card as the AI card. then just added up the scores for the AI and me. so the AI would be getting a card every round. or maybe use a 1D6 and on a 5,6, the AI doesn't get a card. something like that. as i am writing this maybe that doesn't make any sense now! lol i never claimed to be smart!

Lol. The 1d6 doesn't sound like a bad option. We weren't always filling orders every turn when we played. Maybe on a 6 no card, but on a 5 you get an order. Something to that effect that could help simulate the off turn dice rolling.

I had previously gone around the score track once, which is 60 points. Those points were gained during the speed play of the game.

If I understand the question correctly the answer is you cover relic icons with junk tokens. You place junk tokens by using certain building powers.

I have not tried the other modes yet. I did find it enjoyable, especially since there really isn't much change in the rules from the normal game. I would say there is a good amount of replayability in the solo mode. Between the other modes and which guardian you use. So I would say yes, I think it would be worth buying.

We enjoyed both. This one definitely improves over more plays as you get the scoring conditions memorized and don't have to keep looking them up. We liked that sirens has an app that will play your song when done with the game.
