How to Describe Immanuel? Inclusive. Thoughtful. Creative. Involved.
All are welcome at Immanuel: young and old; single, married, coupled; for people of faith and uncertain faith. We affirm the gift of diversity and the image of God in all people.
IPC is a place that blends spirituality with thoughtful reflection on what tradition and experience mean and how to live a life full of God in today's world. Asking the questions and searching for the answers is valued at Immanuel.
Marimbas, poetry, world music, traditional hymns, the visual arts and film are some of the creative expressions that are aspects of our worship, fellowship, and educational programs with children and adults.
IPC is involved in the community and the world. We share our space with many community groups. As a congregation, we encourage the involvement and participation of members and friends in the life of the church, the community and the world.

Great content, as always! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
❤
Most of my classmates from Grade 5 to 7 knew how to play these instruments at Dolphin Park Primary in Mt Darwin. on this song my fav was the bass, i still remember the notes.
Awesome 👌
I'll likely be reflecting on this portion of the sermon for the rest of the week: "The need for heroes reveals just how broken our systems, our culture and society are. We love heroes because we don't want to do the hard work of fixing things. It's much easier to rely upon and trust that a few extraordinary people are going to do something extraordinary and save us all and change it all. The more you need heroes, the more your systems, your culture, your society is broken. If you're constantly needing a hero to save you, then it's drawing your attention away from the very thing that is most important. The goal should not be to create a world where we need heroes, the goal should be to create a world where we don't. . .where everyday forms of altruism are not heroic but simply human." It ties in well with a line from last week's sermon, one that struck me so profoundly that I had to jot it down: "If you've been listening for one moment, you are disturbed and moved constantly to care for those who are oppressed and hurting--period. That is what true religion is. That is what it is." Pastor Monroe, thank for for the wisdom, inspiration, calls to action, food for thought--I always find one or all in your preaching!
❤❤. Tad- Nice job.
Nice job Tad.
Awesome 🔥🔥🔥
nice to listen to, I watch the Ala Moana band regular too. I will have to see what is going on here local with that type of instrument.
Going through a tough time feel blessed by this service. I joined Immanuel in 1975 and hope to come back. Nice job Tad.

Good morning IPC!

Zimbabwe used to be a nice country

Thanks Cindy. I had to listen twice and I'm glad there is now a transcript (provided by AI) Faith as a substance not just an assurance or certainty we feel. Mmm
We're so glad you were able to follow along and found it meaningful!
Wonderful! 👏

I don’t suppose the audio was captured? Would love to hear yesterday’s service if it’s available. Thanks for continuing to stream and record! ❤️
Hi Cassandra! We're so sorry, but we weren't able to capture any audio from this service due to a computer issue.
The Bass lady is smashing it in tune, so good. The whole crew is amazing!! Nice one.
This is good, no doubt
Keep mutilating God's most precious gift. What one does to another one eventually does to oneself. Good luck with your "Life Reviews" all you God-hating butchers!
wonderful
famba mwana🔥🔥
💀💀💀 great video but. Surprisingly im a Zimbabwean, also an atheist but this video is a traditional Zimbabwean song often used to apparently communicate with the spirits of the ancestors 😂 idk if the church knew before posting this. Anywho good video.
Let me assist 1) The fact that one is using a certain tool to communicate with specific target doesn't mean that the other person using the same tool is speaking with the same target. 2) Every tool including water, cars, money, people or whatever else is available for use either by Holy Spirit or the so called ancestral spirit. 3) Chemutengure was not composed for spiritual purposes.
Chemtengure has nothing to do with spirits. Its just a social song. I know all the lyrics, I am a Zimbabwean too hence i strongly object.
Even if it was, in ATR we use our ancestors to talk to God for us. We are all just talking to the same GOD, but using different routes. Believe I am Zimbabwean, I am believe in both ATR and I am believer of Jesus Christ.
@@taku6157 that's okay but the bible doesn't allow communication through the dead. Also it says even if you believe in God but you don't only use Jesus then you go to hell
@@taku6157 It is good to know that you believe in Christ. However you need assistance in realizing that there is sufficiency in Christ and that by taking ATR in, you are denying the salvation that has been made available to all for free.
God bless you all
Glory to God

Awesome guys keep it up
Love the music here. Very nice.
這樂器是兩種說法,鐵琴,鐘琴,都有人說,音管在在下方發出聲音,男女鐘琴一邊高音一邊低音,打擊樂器聲音,不錯聽
Fantasic❤
Excellent guys!
Beautiful- Beginning to end. Thank you!
Can I call myself a vegan but eat foods which under description a vegan shouldn't eat, then am I truly a vegan?
How can one say I am a Christian but I practice what the institution goes against. Either one is in or out simple. If once has to change the believe of an institution to fit into one lifestyle then are u really part of that institution believe system?
SUCH A BEAUTIFUL CELEBRATION AND WHAT A GIANT OF A MAN! WHAT SIUZE WERE HIS SHOES??
Thank you so much for sharing Diane's celebration of life. She certainly did celebrate life.
Amazing amazing one of my favorite songs .
Whats the name of the song
Polyphonic rhythms are really hard to master if you’re not from the culture but old boy on soprano is definitely zim bred.
Soo Beautiful 🥹♥️
