Good info very well explained
Hi, could I know the USPTO will publish all the correspondence and reply to Office Action as well? or just publish the application files? Thank you!
Great video!!
Great video andi definitely understand how important and powerful a patent can be, however im hesitant file a patent because i have to disclose everything and how my product works. There can be alot of knock offs from other companies trying to remake my idea especially if my product is successful. I know that's just the way it has to be and thats the requirements. What do you think?
Did this account get hacked or did you post this on the wrong channel???
How many times we can amend the claims if the examiner agreed with features of the invention. Or just once
Finally somebody who shows us examples!
Smashed it bro
After publication, how long usually it takes to know if patent can be granted? 6 months or longer. Normally
Great video thank you 🙏
DOPE! Thank you.
Could the examiner only use part of drawings to say the inventor anticipated every element while the inventor NEVER mentioned in his description and claims? Per USPTO it must be expressly or inherently, how to interpret INHERENTLY here? I am sure it’s not EXPRESSLY. Thanks🙏, my feature is rotating, the prior art has no any similar word at all. while the examiner said the feature is anticipated by a part of the drawings, is this the broadest explanation?
Mr. IQT, I am doing my patent application Pro Se. I created a "Background of the Invention" yesterday and found your video this morning. Halfway through I realized that you are saying things not to do, that I was doing. (400+++ words, pointing out about 7 prior art patent numbers and why they are problematic, talking about my invention's specifics ) I copy and pasted the transcript from this video into ChatGPT and told it to revise my Background as recommended by your suggestions. Holy Jesus! What it wrote describes what you were saying to a tee. I fed ChatGPT with the text from each of the 7 prior art patents so that it could do some comparisons NOW: It's all written about the past: ":there are problems prior art has attempted to resolve, but they are overly complex, require frequent maintenance, and are difficult to use in practice". While when referring to my invention it says it "offers a streamlined, robust solution, emphasizing simplicity and ease of operation. It improves upon earlier designs by reducing mechanical complexity, enhancing durability, and offering precise control." And it's so very true. That's the purpose of the invention. Thank you very much. 😎🍻 ps. I think this is the 3rd video I've done using your transcripts. pps. Yeah, yeah, yeah, your videos are for entertainment purposes only. I get it. Respectfully.
How fun! I am studying for my Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) exam - found your IPR video to be excellent, and then wandered over here. Love it when patenting crosses into real life application
Thank you soooo much!
best video thank you!
I agree that AI can make the patent process easier, but we should be careful when we use it. For example, the hand drawn in your example has six fingers.
LOL that is hilarious, and I hadn't noticed that. While it is not directly relevant to the smartwatch, it illustrates (pun intended) your point that care must always be taken when adapting AI-generated content.
Hello. May I contact you directly please? My associates and I are searching for help with writing our patent. My ceo/founder has been working on our initial for quite some time, however I feel strongly that he requires assistance. Can you possibly please help us. I have listed to many of your videos and you are obviously extremely knowledgeable. Sincerely, David
Hello, My name is Mario. Your in-depth understanding of the nuances involved in preparing a patent application is very impressive. I'd like to discuss with you the possibility of engaging your expertise as a consultant to help guide me through the process of drafting a PCT 154 application. I have a patent attorney who will handle the final touches before filing. I believe your insight will be helpful in getting my application to a strong starting point. So, whether or not you're an attorney doesn't really concern me-I’m confident you can help me shape my IP for the attorney’s review. Would you be interested in this consulting opportunity? Also, because I'd prefer to meet face-to-face, I'd like to know, where are you based in case tis is a possibility? Finally... I don't know how often you respond to comments so I will be reposting this comment on several of your videos. You can reach me via email @ mas@kinetic-media-networks.com. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you, Mario Salinas

Excellent video!
Thanks. Quite informative. But i suggest you get a better microphone.
so good
Best patent related content on YT!
Thank you for the clear, concise, and practical explanations! Very helpful for me, as I will be amending the claims myself (in spite of your advice!) since an attorney had told me it's a long shot but I want to give it a try anyway without spending a lot of $.
Great video! I enjoy your content; keep posting! Warmest wishes, -john
Thanks for the kind words!
Could I say once the examiner agreed with the claims, the patent is most likely granted? Thank you 😊
I would say this is the best tutorial if you want to apply for a patent yourself😊
If the invention has 500 variations, should I list All of them? such as a table top, I just write “ top is not limited to be round “, is this acceptable?
Could I know most of OA is before the publication or after?
many times an OA is received after publication, but they can occur before publication sometimes
@@InventorsQuickTips thank you, I didn’t get OA from USPTO but UK office did ask me to amend the claims before the publication. Maybe the claims are not correct
Thank you so much, practical and useful than most of videos here👍
Bravo! This content is great and very much welcome as its useful for new inventors👍
Well done and hit every point. Thanks
Thanks! I'm a student trying to read product design patents. I'm not from the US, so having a general guide to read gov-provided docs like this is helpful.
Is there more information about IDS - how when where to use it?
Terrible buzzer noise.
Do you help with writing full patents?
Great content! Enjoyed your video - keep up the good work. -john
Great video thank you puts thing into perspective. UK inventor trying to draft claims.
Thank you for this- I'm in my last semester of law school and taking patent law as an elective - you explain these topics in a much more understandable way than my case book!
Good Explanation
Thanks, I like the examples 😂
Hi is there an App to make a drawing
