It's sad because that shit box of a car wasn't anything special, such a great Australian legend lost because of shit engineering. There's no way that garbage car could "take on porsches". I reckon he was lied to.

I spent the video with a sunken heart, constantly bracing for the moment, only to be told that this was a completed stage. Thank fuck for that. Last completed stage is definitely better to watch than the last ever stage

Brock may not of had to many bingles with fellow racers but he had a lion's share banging female fans and groupies if he wasn't driving he be in his motor home with one or two stunner young car chicks doing fast and furious relaxation techniques before making an appearance sign a few tshirts reload with a new groupie girl or two then retire to his motor home where he did some of his best work. Brock got paid win races which he did he also was a magnet for car chicks which he entertained and serviced right up till the end.... A legend bonkher. About the same time another mad man Steve Irwin checked out.. Two Aussie legends both with one common ending... They both went out doing fish tails ....

A bit of tragic preview of what was to come... A crash was inevitable in the conditions, and on an open piece of road without guardrails or fencing, there was a very heavy price to pay. Grand master or not, these are the unfortunate facts. Sad for Peter, his family, friends and many fans.

That's the difference between racing on a designed race track and racing on a closed road with no safety at all except for the vehicle your in and even then things can change without warning. RIP BROCKY you were a pleasure to watch especially on the mountain.

Ross Dunkerton said that Brock had just returned from Britain and may have been fatigued. He summed up saying "he hadn't driven it, it was raining and if you put all those things together, you can sort of say it's sad and it's risky,". That's a lesson to new and old drivers...you've got to be fresh and do the reccy's.
