We have that same floor in a rental and after all I've seen online, I don't even want to waste money to test it. Also on Inspectapedia, it says that a lot of labs don't detect the powdered asbestos in those vinyl sheets. So it really could contain like 70-80% asbestos...and all in tiny fibers the average abatement vac used doesn't even pick up...Unfortunately, we already disturbed several feet of the floor, so now we just hope and pray...And have to pay someone to clean it...And sell...

Thanks, Beth. Those are good tips. I like rocks, too, and have rock tumblers. I also like to make cabachons. It's just a hobby and not commercial. Here's a tip for you. I got some sintered bits. They are not just diamond coated. The burr is solid with diamond grit not just the surface. They are not cheap, but they last quite awhile. I got mine on Amazon. Just sayin.....

it's messy but I found that using a small parts washer tub meant for use with solvents and for cleaning car parts it cuts down on the dust that is flung around if carving dry rocks. Also the parts washer recycles the water continually which isn't wasteful.

Don't use diamond dust burrs like those on steel. The diamond dust dissolves into the steel when it gets hot.

I like how you use the water bath with the heavy terry cloth padding to minimize dust. I had only thought of using a fountain of water.

Your floor looks great! When i tried to use a roller that claimed it was intended for polyurethane, it created bubbles everywhere vs no bubbles with the lambswools. I don’t like the lambswool because it takes too long and it creates cat lick strokes. How did you avoid bubbles from the roller? What specific type of roller did you use?

This doesn't work been there done that I used a 1/4 inch nap roller had millions of bubbles which never flowed out .. use a lambs wool pad . You wont see the air bubbles on the video
