B.S. Adventures
Добавлен 28 апр 2014
Bryan’s Special Adventures, and Projects.
Come along for a ride with me into the fun zone some might call madness.
Whether rooted in for a time, building stuff.
Traveling on foot, on two wheels or four.
There are so many fun projects to do.
Cool people to meet.
Beautiful places to see.
I build weird, wild, and occasionally, practical things.
Vans, trucks, bikes, art, shelters, whatever it might be.
There are plans in place to homestead my own off grid, empire of dirt, high up in the Rocky Mountains.
But I still can’t shake my wanderlust to explore beautiful places.
My values are such.
Be honest. Hold integrity. Communicate clearly.
Always be mindful of your surroundings. Follow your heart. Have tremendous respect for the new day. The world will open its arms to you.
I truly hope you’ll find something useful or helpful in these videos of me, just doing me, doing all the dumb shit, that I tend to do. 😁
It ain’t easy but that’s ok.

Why do you have to fill from upper radiator hose first???
🤫 can’t even tell
Obs not osb
Bury that pen connector inside of the cut rubber tubing. Touch the two ends of the hose together. Will keep the hot coolant from expanding the pen.
Tried to. It was WAY to tight of a fit. Could barley get it on as far as I did. It served its purpose well.
@b.s.adventures9421 👍 glad you got it to work out. Good luck out there.
What nowhere town
I really don’t even know.
First, don't buy a Chevy. 😅
Thanks for the tip.
I was finna say thats not a lightning until i heard it 😂
It’s a lightning. Verified by the vin and all the little differences between them and a regular f150. Thicker frame rails from the 4x4. Fins cast in the center section of the 4:10 Tracloc 8.8 rear. Factory traction bars. Tubular rear bumper (optional) Aluminum one piece driveshaft. Heavy duty e40d with a higher stall converter. The obvious ones are all the gt40 parts on the factory hopped up 351w. Factory tubular headers into lighting only, high flow duel exhaust. The lightning seats with “lightning” embroidered into the headrests. Factory lowered stance. Lightning only, and hard to find factory 17” aluminum wheels. Hard to find 275/60r17 tires. And 100 other little things I’m forgetting. I personally removed the stickers off the bedsides. Yes it’s a real 1st gen lightning. Lot of people are only familiar with the second gen supercharged 5.4 lightning.
gotta do whacha gotta do. But this is exactly why i bought a hydraulic press

Should have just bought a complete lower control arm. Saving time and headaches
Naw. The bushings were fine. Control arm is mint. Ball joint was 1/4 the cost. It was super easy.
Bro there's a small round piece thar the ball joint protrudes into your using it wrong
I understand what your saying, but it will not work in that situation. It was super easy. Just showing people to think outside of the box. This ain’t my first time.
Thanks for the tip, kind of a common sense thing but that is lost these days. Gotta stay adaptive and creative.
I have been on that problem, what a pain in the ……. Good luck my friend
I got it. It was a piece of cake.
Save yourself the trouble and just take off that control arm and put it in a bench
Idk if battling those bolts is worth it if the arm isn't being replaced...
It was super easy.
Nice truck
Wanna buy it ?
This truck was lost to a fire.
Nice
Nice
Nice truck!
Thanks. Picked it up very cheap out west. Land of the rust free rigs.
@@b.s.adventures9421 I wish. Most of the trucks in Canada are nothing but rust.
@@garthm9869 Yea. We’re spoiled. It has zero rust. Every fastener just unthreads. I have a couple squarebodys that are just as rust free too. I used to live in heavy rust zones. Alaska, then Hawaii. It’s not the main reason I left, but it played into it.
subbed ❤
Yes sirr
Nice work
Awesome terrain. Nice edit.
Thanks! 👍
How are those grab handles gonna work? Door will be in the way when getting In right? They look cool though. Will be nice for skaters catching the hippie taxi
No, the door swings around completely past them. They are very functional. They came stock on the van.
Door open 180°
Are you gonna put sealant between the back of the lights and the wall?
No
I'll know Bryan... and I'll never let you forget.
You can come straighten them out afterwards. Everyday. For years.

I'm converting a box truck and even though it's a brand new truck, things still aren't 100% square. Guess it's just part of the fun. 😊
Me too. And i'm living in it during the build.
@Living In a Van , I'm doing everything I can to get as much done as possible before May 7th. 🤪
That’s great you got a van ! I think you committed on one of my earlier videos about finding a good van.. Stoked for you.
@@Jennythevehicle nice.
Cat people.
Winner winner chicken dinner ! I’m with you. Cat person. I do like some, well behaved, socialized, smart dogs.. some.
Your Pops is pretty slick with the wood working. Glad you get to spend this time with him.
Me too.
I’m a dog person. Lily would agree with me. 😊
Scarlet seems to like you best, so you must be both..
gr8 sharing friend...wonderful
The back of your van looks sick and effective. nice work! I like it.
Thanks joe.
Nothing more fun than compounding problems to throw you miles going in the wrong directions.
Caused my own problems. Figures. 😁
Good Job Buddy. Point A to Point B and back to A. :)
Thanks joe.
have you checked the flux capacitor or headlight fluid?
Ha. Can’t find ether of those things. Looked pretty hard.

This video is exactly what I needed! I recently purchased a Penske box with a translucent roof and im going to be replacing my plywood floors and also coating my roof! Awesome!
That’s nice to hear, I’m glad it helps you out. Sounds like a great project. Thanks for watching !
the cut on the box looks baddass, good job. its getting less incognito. maybe make a fake off road welding livery? you should add overlanding to your titles. would be helpfull for people looking for this kind of build Overlanding Box Van Conversion
Oh. Good idea. Thanks Mihn hi

you dropped somethin
Lol hahaha. ..!
👍. Sounded like the wire speed was a little slow on the welder. You got it on there though. Looking good!!
Thanks for the tip. I’m slowly Getting better at it.
Nice welder
Thanks 👍
Progress! Yay! I hope you saved the fiberglass skins - they may be handy for marking bolt hole locations in the new piece(s)... and maybe they still have some life left in them (as skins).
Thanks for watching. Stay tuned to see how I figured all that out.

Yea. I’d say that was a snow ball for sure!!
Brah.. just wait…
That little TV was his back up camera?? I don't know who you got the van from but I like his style 😂
