OnePlus changd their LCD panel from Samsung to BOE since OnePlus 12. No complaints of green line so far.

For what it's worth, the battery is way larger, it charges faster with 90w, has a good enough new gen processor to handle daily tasks for quite some time and that package offered at a low price. Also you can expect the price to drop in 2-3 months, making it a nobrainer phone for everyone who values a performer in battery. Features like AI are really just a gimmick. I've got a Google Pixel 9 and let me tell you, it's honestly useless in the AI department. Most of samsungs AI features like circle to search are from Google. Just get Gemini on your 14 pro+ and you're basically 70% there. And on that note: dex? Who uses that crap in a serious setting. That's maybe for like when you're on vacation and wanna connect to a TV, but even then it offers next to nothing for someone who does more than opening word documents. Software skins you can argue and maybe the support time of samsung, but be honest, who uses their phone longer than 4 years? Most upgrade every 2-3 years. Just choose your phone and don't talk smack about other phones. You can see how the tables can turn when you look at it from another standpoint. Btw. In my country the redmi and samsung a55 are similarly priced. On some sites the redmi is even cheaper. Guess for me that comparison is valid. The s24fe starts at roughly 750€ and the s24 plus you'll be set back over a grand. What would be the point of comparing that.

You are COMPLETELY WRONG about Samsung DEX and obviously have NO idea what you are talking about, I HAVE Microsoft office on my phone and open, edit, create documents, Word files, spread sheets, and PowerPoints ALL on the Big screen of a monitor using a keyboard and mouse as well as play games with a Xbox (or any other Bluetooth game controller) and play games FULL-SCREEN with NO lag! It's WAYYYYY better than ANY phone screen or tablet as I use 27" monitors all from my Galaxy S series phone at work and home. Video editing is rather limited due to the Android platform itself and does not really offer any robust video editing software but, there are some apps available that will add effects and cut/paste but are mostly basic. The other thing I did NOT realize is how cheap the Redmi Note 14 Pro is, but I actually NEED the features of a Samsung 'S' series phone for my work and play using DEX daily but, that just my needs that others have NO uses for. I understand that! Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but does The Redmi phone use some funky OS that is not really Android? Or a different flavor of it? How much customization does it offer vs. the Samsung ONE UI 6.1.1?? Samsung offers Good Lock which let you tweak every aspect of the screens, menus, and options a "stock" android phone does NOT have most 'S' series do use daily and SO much more. I watch videos of "new" phones all the time but, have been a Samsung 'S' series phone user for well over a decade starting with their Note series 3 that came out in 2013! Before that I used HTC (gone now), some Galaxy S phones and started using the Android platform shortly after it came out in 2007. Anyways, been using cell phones since the mid 1990's when they became more main-stream and where NOT those HUGE bricks that required a backback to transport around.

@@johnszatkowski6898 valid points, but here is where we can't agree on. You need Samsung's highest class phones for the option of Dex, I need a Phone that won't die on me 1-2 days. Had the chance to try using office with a Samsung phone in my company and everyone including me said that it just isn't the same as the desktop version. Another sore point for samsung is their charging speed. Where do they find the confidence to charge over 1.5k€ for their flagship if the max charging is 45w. On the regular S24 it is even 25w!! We're in a fast paced world, I can't wait one or two hours until my phone is full. Well this redmi isn't the best example because it's battery is just huge, so it'll take longer to charge fully but a 14t pro will be up and running in about 19 minutes from 0 to 100. And from my own experience, I charge my phone when it reaches 20%. Guess while you sit there with an empty battery, I can just brush my teeth, unplug my phone and have 8-9 hours battery easy.

@@Tenebris__03 ; Agreed! To each their own. If it was NOT for DEX I would easily choose an A55 but it's NOT offered in the USA and am not a Pixel fan as I have grown accustomed to the Samsung ONE UI interface it's one of those things that you either like it or you don't.

@@Tenebris__03 Even my lowly S23FE got 1.5 days easily and wound not say that is HORRIBLE! Having a NOTE 8 back in the day - THAT phone SUCKED in every possible with battery being THE worst!

whhhatt? you didn't heard that those foldable screen of huawei if stolen technology from samsung years ago? samsung has already made this foldable phone in 2022 but didn't launch because its too expensive. those processor of huawei is 3 years behind in technology vs samsung snapdragon gen3 qualcom. HARMONY OS is old and it is not reliable/unstable and no support for GOOGLE PLAY STORE. at 3,000 dollars you can buy 3 pieces of Samsung S24 vs HUAWEI. and you say samsung cannot beat? okay,, LMAO.
