Friends Of Creation hosted us yesterday for our Celebration of Learning! We ate delicious Kenyan cuisine, watched a one-of-a-kind trash fashion show by the Mugumo Village, and competed in some fun and messy recycling games. A huge "THANK YOU!" to Lydiah Njoki Njambi, our local Peace Hero this term!

Once a term we invite families to join us in doing something creative at Family Art Night. It gives us the opportunity to connect as a community and to enjoy and use our amazing natural environment to inspire our creativity.

Every Wednesday is Wild Wednesday at Woodland Star International School. The whole school gathers in nature while one class shares what they have learnt. It can sometimes get a bit messy! Our Muna Tree Village enjoyed an amazing field trip to Mt. Suswa, where they explored volcanic caves and lava tubes, put their STEM learning to the test by analyzing local methods of harnessing water using geothermal energy, enjoyed the amazing surrounding nature and had lots and lots and lots of fun!

This is a very brief highlight's video of our whole-school performance, "Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?". This took place in the evening and on one of our magical forest stages ... the setting and ambiance could not have been more beautiful!
