I have been told that I have a habit of being direct. Studying chemistry in college didn't afford me much time to practice my tact. My saving grace might be my willingness to listen to others perspectives. In essence, you have opened a doorway to my self-improvement. Thinking in terms of another language carries over into a dynamic that can help me grow personally as well as culturally. There's more to Mandarin Chinese than meets the eye and ear and soul. Hopefully there's more to me as a work in progress.
