Hey Chrisso , the water stop on outside of shower , is it caulked in or grouted over . It’s hard to tell if it finishes flush with top of tiles in vid . If it was a open shower how do you finish water stop at open end of shower ? Keep up the good work

I was gonna cut my strip drain the full width at the back of my shower but since I've seen you doing the falls, I've think i should changed my mind and come in 100mm from eather side.. thanks again Jamie

Hey mate, I recently pulled a 30 year old bathroom out. It had gal angle down every internal corner behind the cement sheet, plastic angle around the perimeter where the wall met the floor and stud adhesive applied to all the studs except the first and last stud of each wall. Being a DIYer, my question is, was all of this overkill for that time? are the before mentioned practices not needed now? Do I just throw up the cement sheet and poly the gaps? Hi Chriso, just looking across at the niche, where you have a void on the top tile, say 15-20mm do you just pack it with adhesive and chock the glued tile until the glue goes off? Thanks mate, love your work.

That’s one way of doing it! When the tools are limited you’ve gotta make do with what you’ve got. Personally I’m still on the vacuum bus. If a homeowner came in and saw me doing this they’d probably shit themselves because of the mess. Even though you are going to throw it away. Clients are weird like that.
