Now that I'm medical keto I eat 60 grams protein (this will vary per person), 20 grams carbs and 130ish grams fat (the goal is a 3:1:1 ratio of fat to protein to carbs). My migraines are gone!!!!

Are Tardive Dyskinesia and Dyskinesia the same thing? As far as I know, "tardive" means "late onset". So if you start a med in 2024 and the dyskinesia doesn't begin until 2026, that is tardive. But if the symptoms begin immediately, is it still called Tardive Dyskinesia?

Hey don’t forget to go get that new mental health drug igreeza it helps fight side effects from other mental health drugs and it causes side effects too but we’ll soon make another pill to treat that drug’s dangerous side effects too 😂 get off all those bogus mental health SSRIs etc they almost cost me my life slamming my truck into a wall at 80 mph. Finally I told my doctors kiss my ass take your Non Narcotic dangerous bull shit and kiss my ass. Been great no problems ever since. Everyone that goes to any mental health doctor is Bipolar Schizophrenia Manic Depression everything they can think of to push as much shit on you as possible don’t Fall for it. It’s Natural for people in their late teens 20s to mid 30s sometimes to experience anxiety etc it’s because your brain is going from child to adult and it can cause serious problems. Just drink a little alcohol like I did but don’t make it an habit and you’ll be fine. Biggest Help is Stay Busy. An idle Mind is the Devils Playground. God Bless you all.

I have a disabled and elderly parent who has been bedridden for a long time. She has been very low functioning for decades with advanced cerebral atrophy, COPD, multiple physical ailments, possible mini-strokes, etc. She was diagnosed with tardive dyskinesia, but she has no facial tics, just severe hand and arms tremors. The tremors have become more severe lately even becoming full body tremors (making me think it was something more serious than tardive dyskinesia). She can no longer write and can only feed herself when the tremors aren't as bad. Unfortunately, she is on so many medications that she is mostly immobile and still soils herself and the bed during the day. It's exhausting as she cannot use a remote control, can rarely tell you what she wants to watch (or wants to watch what we do not have access to), and she can no longer cook, go down steps, take caps or lids off of things, cut her food, etc., and when she tries to do such things at night, ends up starting fires or making huge messes. The tardive dyskinesia has had things worse.

I took care of an elderly woman died peacefully in her sleep after I brought her walking herself to the bathroom at age 99 hospice was about to kill her and came over because her daughter changed her insurance and at the table Ma I called her started crying because hospice came over and was talking about getting her ready for her funeral and shit. She was 87 at that time. I ran them assholes out my house kept her alive peacefully another 13 years

I already dislike the side effects from TD that I will now have for the rest on my life. Did you know out of pocket ingrezza costs $7000 a month. Such bullshit. Botox was recommended by my PCP as a possible treatment for my TD as he said it could reduce the movements. To me it would seem hit or miss because which muscle group would it be used on when most movements are from the right side of my body.

Glad it worked for you. I was actually part of the test study for Ingrezza and it was possible I got placebo in beginning but eventually got the real drug and after 2 months there were no improvements. Now I am going to try Austedo and pray that it works. I have trunk & head movements. It really sucks. I took Geodon for years and switched to Perphenazine where TD was the first warning in bold letters. I feel my Doctor did me a disservice.

For me I think I maxed out my drug benefit with medicare and had to stop Geodon and pay out of pocket. I am sort of a cheap person. I think it would have cost me like $200 a month for the Generic Geodon and I so wish I paid it as the Perphenazine is a older Antipsychotic drug. My doctor mentioned possible tics and I wish that were the case. I have been taking Baclofen which is a muscle relaxer. Valium worked better but caused bed wetting 😮‍💨 maybe Baclofen would work for you. I also used cyclobenzaprine prior. Just a thought.

I so appreciate your bravery and honesty 💜 Unfortunately I am currently in a no win situation with my TD. Ya see I was given Haldol at a very young age which paralyzed me for 6 months. I was a zombie and was helpless. Traumatized events added to my depression........Melaril was no good. At every turn I was just getting sicker and sicker. Doctors didnt care. I came off everything completely. Then with the support of my family miraculously I was 33 years without any drugs accept smoking cigarettes. I know that's bad but that was all I had. Then I got hit with more devastation.......They shot me up with Geodone and then gave me Resperdol which is what did me in. It took me down in 4 months. Traumatized my brain immediately.......then emergency room with addivan to calm the nerve damage this poisonous drug did to me. Now throw menopause on top of it all. I fight for my life everyday......every breathe, every moment, every minute of the day. Oh I also quit smokin after 34 years too. Actually I'm quite fortunate I can type this right now. All I can say is.......my heart goes out to anyone dealing with this. Its ruined my life, that's for sure. I can only pray that someday with the help of God that all this pain and suffering shall be no more and that HE wipe out every tear from our eyes. Thank You and May God Bless Us Everyone. 💜🙏💜
