Just finished upgrading my F80 with the M2 comp big brakes. Went well, was super easy thanks to this video! ❤. Only thing was I didn’t have to hack up my rear dust shield, the rotors fit just fine lol. Maybe BMW changed them at some point 🤷♂️

5:49 thats such a good observation bro. I have a 1990 E34 535i ... And its actually smaller than a new 3 series lol... And it weighs about 600 pounds less. Def too big these new ones.

I use my paddles every time I drive in my S4 I think the clicky paddles would be annoying
So far so good for me tbh! Can’t really hear them Over the exhaust haha

Fantastic review. M2 n55 all day everyday. I have a 2018 m2 LCI in alpine white 6spd manual highly upgraded and it’s my favorite car to date. Small wheel base that is comfortable as well. I did m2c seat swap with upgraded head rest emblems, pure 750 turbo upgrade, hpfp, lpfp, dp, fmic, intake, upgraded gapped sparks, e50, and custom tune. I make 525whp on 93 and 660whp on E. I also did m2c carbon fiber brace and aluminum strut tower with GTS hood and m2c side mirrors (should have came with the seats and mirrors. Car is very reliable and clean power band now. Just hit 50k all I do for maintenance is oil changes break pads and fluids and whatever else when it’s time for the mileage maintenance. Also have the m2cs steering coded in as well. The difference with the struts is amazing. I will be doing suspension next. Great review and much love.

Crankhub is a single digit issue. If you are scared, do it. But personally, I have a 112k mile M4 that's Stage 2 tuned and is on the stock crankhub.
Try to avoid down shifting to low gears when doing high speeds. Also keeping the rear wheels from lifting off the ground when accelerating like ( hitting a bump in the road ) and you should be just fine.

This coming from a G80 owner, I believe the F80 is an iconic M3. I believe to BMW enthusiasts, it will always have its place. And yes, for the money compared to other sedans in the segment of that time frame, I believe it totally holds its worth and value for the price point! Good review!

Underrated by people who can't drive. The more skill you have the more perception you have about the capability of a vehicle. I have a 2016 M2, - it provides everything I need in a car.
