Been using my 251 for 10 plus years. Lightweight and cuts great. Great firewood saw.
bad ass splitter for the money
they will be calling him 9 fingers Louie soon
Tree you wondering about is an American Elm
What’s the belt size
Probably get 20 thousand views of you cutting your hair, just saying 😊
Views ain’t worth the 🙎♀️ I’d be giving up 🤷♂️ 🤪
I know this was a year ago.. But do you still have splitter and it working still for you.. Thinking of getting one. Seen some problems with it.. The belts working good now. Thanks
I only used it for maybe 6 months but it held up great for that time after I replaced the belts with quality ones and replaced a few bolts with grade 8 American made ones. Ended up receiving my eastonmade axis. This machine was just temporary til that arrived.
@@allaboutoutdoors5083 . Awesome thanks for the info...
You should wear a belt it would help hold your pants up.
🤔 I’ll take it into consideration
Sure they are fast, but running it with two people like that is pretty dangerous. When the punk with his pants falling down is holding onto a piece of wood and the other guy is running the controls, it's just a matter of time before someone loses a hand. Saving time is not always the best way to work especially when it's not safe. Someone needs a belt and learn how to tie his shoes before going to work!
Put 24" sides on it and a back door and you can just dump a cord in it
Is this holding up good for y’all still and why the wood so thin, customer request ?
🕶🕶😎😎
I live in Clinton County Pennsylvania, where do you live?
Allegheny county near Pittsburgh
You should be able to sharpen the carbide chains. You might not be able to do it yourself but your Stihl dealer probably can. I know the one closest to me doesn't but there are Stihl dealers everywhere.
we got elm here, but tons of dead standing ash. I'll stick with the ash.
Better get your haircut before your hair gets all wrapped up around the Chain on the saw
Works awesome! Just a suggestion, if you put the log close as possible to the wedge, it doesn't take the momentum out of the throw as when you put the log in the middle! It would have to push the log & split it too! Thank for Sharing the video! Love the kinetic log splitter! & By the way, that young man needs a pair of suspenders! Lol.. Good hard work fella's! GOD BLESS YOU!! PRAISE THE LORD!! AMEN!! 😘🙏🏻❤️📖🙌🏻🕊
Just curious. On that saw is there only one bar nut? Ever any issues with only having the one nut?
I only had that saw for a few months after this video was made. (MS251) Hardly ever used it. Think it's because it was the sharpest I had at the time. Never had any issues with it and never understood why they only put one nut either. I would 100000% upgrade to the 271 over the 251 for the little bit of extra money. That's actually what I sold the 251 in this video to buy. I have (3) 271's that I run on smaller stuff constantly. My main saw is my 500i though.
@@allaboutoutdoors5083 Thanks I will keep that in mind.
How many bundles you sell in a yr?
@@ZackNyoutube 2276 give or take a few. I keep really good track of it on a spreadsheet.
Cool to hear ur from pa me to...how do u like the splitter...I have one and it's ok my rack started slipping have u ever had this problem?
Sounds like just a belt problem yes? My belts that came with the machine broke before they slipped after the first 6 hours of splitting. Replaced them with better more quality ones and haven’t had a problem since.
@allaboutoutdoors5083 I sure hope it has not held up as well as I thought it would all around still gotta look into it more
Where can I get a replacement part for the "arms" that cradle and hold the wood? I need them yesterday!
When I first got mine. The motor was bad legit never been used. I called them up and I had a new one within three days. They are very prompt on parts or at least with my experiences
Da gusto verles trabajar..mucha suerte..!!
Don't you have money to buy belt for your pants? 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
You are not so smart wood splitter 🤣

Good video. Thank you. I'm just starting in the business.
Hey when you first started out doing firewood how long was it before you started making a good profit. I'm just getting into firewood and was just wondering if you might have some advice that would be helpful. Thank you really love your channel.
So you want to start selling Firewood? A few tips I wish someone would have told me ruclips.net/video/cy3TMGr40qU/видео.html Check this video out I made. It’s a longer video but pretty much answers your question. Hope that helps. 👍🏼
How’s the DK2 holding up? Looks like a really good piece of equipment! You guys make it look fun just trying to keep up with the machine!😁
I can do this all day. Peace and tranquility. Simpler things in life.
That means it will barely get 2 dumped in
Holds roughly 2 1/3- 2 1/2 dumped in with some hand leveling at the end. If I did some different size sideboards to get me a couple more inches of height, I’m betting I could get 3 dumped in. I rarely ever sell cords though so I’ve never need it. Only sell by the face cord. I’ll deliver as much as you want but on sell @ $200/face cord.
Still working great?
Good afternoon my friend. What state are you in I love your videos very much
PA 🎊
I have a kinetic super split HD. It's crazy how fast it is compared to hydraulic. It really takes 3 or 4 people to maximize production. 1 operating splitter, one bringing rounds up and one or two stacking
Shade, gradient, idea, colour fantastic m8
i so hope you come back with more videos i do enjoy your content heres hoping from the uk
I’m hoping to also bought a new splitter and got all my wood split before winter so barely any content to make. I will 100% be back though. Thanks for the support 😊
I love this song.🇺🇸

Hey just so you know you have the hydro filter installed upside down, it's supposed to be facing the ground and hose end up. Spin it a half turn with a wrench...
That’s how she came and it’s in the manual that way so 🤷♂️ runnnn itttt 🔥 🪵
great videos amigo keep up the hard work i star to sell bundles also
When your through using the splitter, You should always turn the gas off and let the engine run until it dies. The reason you are having to pull the plug an blow the gas out is because the float in the carb is bouncing around when you transport the splitter, letting the needle valve come off it’s seat allowing gas to free flow into the engine. Some of the gas will also drain past the rings and eventually overfill the crankcase diluting the oil which can destroy the engine. I would check the oil and if it’s overfull, drain and refill with new oil. Also even if you’re not going to transport the splitter, you should still shut the gas off, because those needle valves are famous for not seating and leaking. Happy splitting.
Bro got the muscle
I know I hate elm but I got some elm I cut but it been a couples of years since I cut I need to split it up I ain’t got it split I like oak but can’t always get what u want so got to use what u get
Why doesn’t anyone on youtube warm up their ice cold motors before running wide open?
It doesn’t have a throttle it’s all or nothing on this one 😉
There’s always someone who will push the issue. I know the instructions says to keep your hand free . Your technique is dangerous and you will be purified through pain.
Sounds good 👍🏼
Stripes real good what height were u cutting 3.5??
Honestly have no clue I adjust as needed every week I’d say probably 3 ish. I just set it randomly
Love the video. Baffled by the cost of the bundler though. The technology and material involved to make that appears to be extremely minimal. Those companies may not be making a killing just because of (seemingly) a small market, but their margin has to be insane...
Oh yes no doubt there steep on price for some metal tubing and a motor essentially. The cost of the bundler by far makes its money back in productivity though. In a time hour I did 69 bundles. So let’s say 50 comfortably. That’s $250/hr cost of $3300 that’s a mere 13 1/4 hours of bundle time for this to pay for itself. That’s 1 1/2 days crazy.
How’s the new machine holding up? That’s fast!
