When we gonna get some more roping videos
Do you think I can make a little basketball court in my yard with that thickness for my daughter?
With me having very minimal knowledge of concrete and just learning what I know off of RUclips, I would say depending on the size. If you get too big I would fear of possible cracking!
@@bayoufarmlife Thanks
Sure hope you folks put out some more great videos. 😊
Should be very soon!
When you going to start making more videos? Love your channel, I am a union worker from Ky and love to team rope on my time off, get back on it ole son!
Thank you for the support! The past year or so has been crazy busy and hectic but I plan to make some more soon!! Thank you again and hope to hear from you soon!
Where's the mesh baby? Check if you can buy the dry stuff bulk at wholesale by the trailer load. You'll save some Dosh.
Wow just stuck the knife in the ground I would have been putting it in my pocket or laying it down each time Much faster/efficient your way Thank you I’ll be doing that tomorrow when I do my dry pour Thank you
I am a team roper to and even though it is hard to keep up sometimes I would not trade this way of life for anything 👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥
Also can’t wait for more roping vids
Your exactly right! Feeling like none other!!!
Missing your videos
SO WHATS THE NEXT LEVE......You put some rebar in it ? Thats it ? Your a joke at best
I just started roping and i want to enter a jackpot this summer but it seems pretty near racking. what is the #10 and #8 mean? What should i look out for when signing up for a jackpot. Please keep up the videos i love them
Hey thanks for the comment! #10 and #8 is the number of each roping. Meaning each roper is classified with a number. Me being a #3. So in my case if I was to enter a #8 roping, my partner couldn’t be better than a #5 which would equal 8. Thats just the tip of it. I can go into further detail on a video for you bud!
@@bayoufarmlife please, i started heading a few months ago and want to get to my first Jack pot soon but i still feel like I don’t know anything. Could you start from finding them to entering and what you do when you get there? It would mean the world

Abuse
😢😢😢😢😡😡😡😱😱😱
Omg this is not abuse. Stop saying it is. Dog fighting and things like thst are illegal because they ARE abuse. Don’t you think this would be illegal if it was too? The calf is perfectly fine after, there tough animals, not some fragile thing. I have a calf I rope all the time and we are best friends.
Thank you! Everyone has a right to their own opinions but very good points!
Being a tough animal has nothing to do with it. This is just putting this animal in a stressful situation for human entertainment. Rodeos are full of this shit.
That’s so bad for the calf I wanna sue fr
U goin to kinder
I’ll be at work unfortunately buddy!
I wish I could rope this most repeated song then pack it away
Hell yeah
Bro every video has the same sounds man

Why would you hurt a sweet little animal
This doesn’t hurt them see the thing on his head that is protecting him 🤪

I’m not seeing how I missed when I roped two feet? Lol
@bayoufarmlife The rope looked like it went slack at the end of the video and that's right when the video cut. Show the whole clip or maybe you rodeo different where you're from. Anyways still badass I'm not starting trouble cowboy. Cheers!
Ew abuse
Nope it’s not

Hey man, I just got into team roping, I’m from southwest Louisiana too lol. I have a heel horse. I was wondering if I could get some pointers from you. I didn’t know how to pm you so I figured I’d do it over the comments.
Hey buddy! Sorry for the delayed response but I would love to give you any pointers I could help with! If you’d like to shoot me a email I’d be happy to give you and help you need! louisianavloggers@gmail.com
@@bayoufarmlife yes sir. I appreciate it. I’ve been trying to get with someone from around here to get pointers from lol
Good run right there! 💯
Had a real good header sir!
Yesir I was at kinder and talked to you
Yes sir I sure appreciate yall!!
Cool. So it's lasted 2 or 3 months. The 1 and 2 year update will be the ones that actually say something. 😉
Well I hope you stick around and I will gladly show the results weather good or bad!
Can you do a update video of how it's holding up
I sure can! I have one I took a little after this pour but I can definitely give y’all a update!
Good to see ya‼️
Gonna be making a comeback soon!! Got a lot of new things in store for y’all!
@@bayoufarmlife I’m with ya!
it looks like the sidewalk is slanted toward your house.
Sadly is it due to ground elevation!
Mortar type S would of came out smoother but looks good.
Thank you much!!
Hey Pard‼️ We were at the beach so only just now got a chance to watch. I may be late, but I’ll never miss one on yours. GREAT VIDEO! I remember the first time I rode a truly competitive horse, he nye on left me in the box, I was way back on my pockets. I can relate to all you said. Our sport has to be at least 85% horseflesh. When a guy puts up his money he can probably handle a rope. It’s the horse that makes the difference. I’ve seen world champ gold buckle guys over the years literally disappear because they lost their good horse. I sure would love to see more roping videos of yours! I could see Ace is a Dunn, but could really not tell his color. Heck of a story how ya got him.
I truly am appreciative of hearing from you on each video! What you said it extremely right! We are only as good as our horses! I’ve always called him a grulla because of his head color but some may call him a dun! Either way, he has made my job and life easy! I can definitely make some more videos talking about these two ponys I have in my barn! I would love to share that with y’all! As always, I sure appreciate you watching!
Great back ground story of ole ace
Thank you!!
Loved Ace's story! He's so pretty!❤
Thank you!!
Hey Pard, one thing for sure, you ain’t lazy💪🏼‼️
One thing I was taught as a youngin, if you want it, you gotta go get it. And I appreciate that comment more than you know!!
@@bayoufarmlife Pard, I don’t want to get all syrupy on ya, but it’s amazing how much we think alike.
You know the ol sayin, great minds think alike!!
So I did a dry pour slab and oh god, as a perfectionist tried my best to make it perfect but eventually (3 hours of finishing) I gave up and figured a little imperfections wouldn’t hurt. So I misted it twice (once per hour) then did the showering 1 per hour as well and it came out looking great overall but… there was spots where it bubbled (spalled) and created little circle craters. I am really curious what went wrong. Did I over mist, not mist enough? Or is it part of dry pour method? I see you have some on your slab too. What do you think it is? If anyone knows lmk! 😊
Hi! First off, thank you for watching! Secondly down to business! If you see areas where the concrete has bubbled upward almost as if the top isn’t set with the rest of the slab, in my experience that is the result of to much water! In this process, less is more with the water. As far as the the small craters as you described it, I would think that would be the results of too heavy of water too soon. So maybe the mist that you done was a little excessive or not enough movement. If you want Cajun Country Livins video, they stress the importance of steadily moving during the watering process, especially the misting. But nevertheless, I’m sure the slab will hold up excellent for you and I hope you can find the imperfections as a stepping stone and enjoy it for years to come!
@@bayoufarmlife Thank you so much for sharing your response. Yeah I learned a lot and the little imperfections will just be motivation to maybe repair it or stain it or something to make it look intentional hah. Thanks again. Ill do another pour and then see if lighter misting will help. I think I might have put a little too much water 🙄
Ooops….forgot to say congrats on the 1000‼️
Thank you much!
Hey Pard! Good to see ya back up! You are a great cook if not a full blown bayou chef. The best part is ya rope as good as ya cook👍🏼
Yes sir! That’s my favorite things to do! Cook and rope! The best duo ever!
Dude, I am lovin the sound vibes.
Thank ya much!

Thank you very much! It is definitely a great meal!!
Looks great! Any concern with it only 2 inches thick?
Thank you! As of now, not one single issue. I’ve got a couple update videos showing how well this slab and the other has held up! Thank you much for watching!
We like your willingness to try something NEW 1000 POINTS great attitude new progress with each undertaking John Morin MILO, Maine
Thank you very much for that! I do enjoy trying new things and giving it 100% effort! Thank y’all for watching!
Hey Pard! Like I’ve said before, if y’all are ropin’…..I’m watchin’ and likin’. I know for sure the work it takes to post these videos, I appreciate the effort. Much obliged!
Always appreciate your comments! Thanks again! Plenty more to come!
That is amazing, but why is it necessary to pour the concrete out of the bags? You should have just stacked them side by side. You don’t even need to smooth out the ground or create forms. Then soak them with water and you are done. So much easier. Work smarter not harder.
I would say just for a little bit of better finish!
