♫ An introspective dialogue complimented with some soulful guitar notes. Well done indeed !
I have a Yamaha FG 350 W. Love that guitar.
“if we could do one last thing, it would be just to talk” ❤
Reminds me of Dad and how he wanted peace and harmony among the ministers of the community that he lived in. I love this song!!
♫ A poignant appeal for reconciliation - a well written song reflecting some deep emotions. Keep writing !!
Thank you for listening!
Yamaha guitars are really underrated. I do own 2 Gibson and 2 Martin and 2 Yamaha guitars. The 2 Yamaha's are great. And I've sold several big name guitars in the past few years. Got to say, I wouldn't part with the two Yamaha..
If you want to make money buy cheap sell for a profit but your not that kinda guy yep i advertise nothing and im down from 600 guitars down to 60 plus and iam still full yeah i need to sell some i have donated a few and given a few away to favourite musicians i know but i guess you will just trip over them or sell to someone who wants guitar gear via word off mouth the classifieds bring out the asxholex and opotunists so if you don't want them hold out till maybe the market turns round give em away or trip over them your options are limited the big companies dont care about players their accountants and bean counters suprises me how much people will pay dealers for guitars but they expect average Jo to just give them away...im using someone else account to post this comment wcm
I really enjoyed your playing and story. Thanks for sharing.
It sounds really open & loud. What's model of Yamaha is that ?
good stuff
Your parents did such a beautiful thing! I dot mine in a similar way. Keep canning!
Your voice is like molasses being warmed with tea. Beautiful song and playing! 70’s Yamaha? I see that red label.
Well written and played/
Good video and Yamaha is a fine guitar. You play in well.
Good sounds, man! Great Yamaha guitar.
❤
Good Music.
Beautiful gospel song .. Your rendition sounds very good ! ♬‧*˚✧♬
nice cover.🤗
Nice looking and sounding Yamaha. I played one much like it yesterday at Guitar Center, it played really well. If it's the guitar for you, then that's it.
Thanks man. Enjoyed your story. Only guitar players would understand.
I have a Yamaha too and it is my favorite, great tone, deep bass and good highs. It's sounds better than my friends Martin. I had a Taylor once too, but my Yamaha sounds and feels better. This is the only one I want to record with. I am glad you hung on to your Yamaha and protect it and play it forever.
Yup... My YAMAHA acoustic / electric... is a "Keeper"... ! Has the sweetest tones and compliments to whomever made it !
Thank you for keeping the memory of Dad so alive Also, love your version. So beautiful.
It is my honor. Thank you!
Thank you! ❤
You brought many memories to me.
Better to be played than stored in a glass case 😀
Thanks for your heart felt story❤ Fingerstyle and chords to live for🎶🎸🏆
Thanks for Listening!
Sounds good. What strings do you have on the Yamaha ? There is one for sale near here , I may give it a try. 👍
I use D'Addario Light Gauge and Extra Light Gauge. This particular day it was Extra Light Strings. If you can find one I don't think you will be disappointed. Keep me posted!
Hi there. I bought the Yamaha last night and it does indeed have D'addario Lights fitted. The guy I bought it from was a professional musician his entire life but now 78 he has retired. He came from Manchester UK , same as Graham Nash of the Hollies/Crosby , Stills , Nash and Young. Very knowledgeable knowledgeable man who also built guitars and valve amps. Thanks again for putting me onto the 461s.
@@richardread8281 Great news! Enjoy it!!
What a heartfelt story man. I felt that in my soul. An honor to hear it. Makes me miss my dad just a little more and grates for the dings on my own guitars
Thanks for Sharing that. Take care brother
wow great stuff man !!
A mic. might help your projection. Just saying.
I gave an FG401 dread. 1990s. Warm with incredible sustain.
I was laid out in the driveway of a gas station by a guy with a FG Yammy. I remember every note.
What a neat few minutes of my life, and then your song just went to the moon and back. I hope to play like this before I die. Thank you for sharing.
Amazing .
Very nice tutorial lovely guitaring nice story I'm just starting out in RUclips myself I posted two videos so far
Thank you!.. Good luck with your channel.
I am a recent Yamaha player, I bought an LL16 a couple of years back which has a great action and beautiful refined tone, heaps of bass and volume but also strong in the mid range. They did something very good with the bracing on this model. I have done a review of the guitar on my RUclips channel.
Thank you. I will check it out. The LL 16 is a great guitar. I also like the LJ 16.
Got FS9
That is a sweet guitar. Good for you! Enjoy!!
great cover, your voice is great. 🎶👏🎸💯
Thank you!
Beautiful performance. "New Sub".
Thank you very much!
New sub. Enjoyed. Liked. Full listen 😊 Cheers, Bruce Keep playing and posting.
Thank you Bruce. I appreciate it. Cheers!
Beautifully and masterfully done Rusty . Keep on playin brother. .
Thank brother. Cheers!
James Taylor and Linda Rondtadt. Well done!!!
WOW.. love the guitar work on this
Thanks!
great story and reminds on mine Yamaha fgx 720sc bought new and had it ever sense love it
The FGX720sc is a nice instrument. Natural finish or a different color? i played a black FGX800sc and the sound was phenomenal. I have found the finish to have an impact on the sound in certain cases.
Great story! I had the same experience with my yamaha fg110, that i got when I was 14 or so, never thought about it..., it went with me on interrails across Europe in the late 70s and 80s , and it wasnt until i had it laying around in the studio..., that people picked it up an said..."hey...could we use this guitar on this recording?"and of course I said yes..., and since then it has appeared on more records then I have....
I am not surprised. I owned and FG110 years ago. I gave it to a friend. It had a great sound. I found it very balanced.
WOW... Hope you don't mind me saying this but as soon as you started playing I heard Dad..
Oh Thank You Lori! Such a huge compliment.
@@lorimurphy8432 oh me too!!!
What a great song and that guitar has such a crisp, bright sound!! 🥰
Thanks Sarah! It is a great guitar. Nice neck and it feels great to play.
