as someone with a history of seizures but almost off my medication after being seizure free for almost 20 years I’ve never in my life once had an mri the only tests I’ve had was EEG and all those tests came out Normal but the condition I was born with is called a grandma seizure but now I’m on the lowest dose of Dilantin and next week at my next neurologist appointment I will find out if I can get off my medication my last neurologist wanted to get me an MR scan with and without contrast i opted for an open scan I was so afraid I refused the scan the last scan I had 20 years ago was a CT scan without contrast at avoyelles hospital with an older GE light speed QXI scanner with the display and the controls on the left and right side so I’ve never had an mri before in my life

Awesome, MRI safety is so important! I think we become too comfortable as patients and just want the test done; however its very important to follow Tech instructions. Great job, Kevin!
