Просмотров 110 тыс.12 лет назад
This is a rare find. An advertisement video promoting the International Farmall CUB. Unbelievable. One of my all time favorites. Enjoy. Please leave feedback. More videos to come!
Is it broken or something or what’s going on?
I''m saving this...thanks!!
We had a picker mounted on a M Farmall. It was one of first in our area.
Yea I love this old stuff
The old carnival music is something ! All the old farm equipment videos seemed to have it
We never had an IHC CUB BUT, my granddad had a B.F. AVERY DEALERSHIP IN NORTHEAST ARKANSAS POINSETT COUNTY AND HE bought a V model Avery basically the same tractor as the Cub I think it had a little more hp, than the Cub. AVERY WAS BOUGHT OUT MY Minneapolis Moline in early 1950's the V avery worked his commercial strawberry acreage and sweetcorn, in the fall it was used to pull cotton trailers at the gin
ever think about the gloss they put on that tractor?
i just want to know why the guy is wearing a suit ?
today, no one can afford new tractors , thanks to the democrats and china
Time to wake up..the repubs aided big corporations and businesses with easy tax incentives and loopholes to offshore our production..
My grandpa said it was like having a three legged horse compared to an A. Also the pto spins backwards.....
I wasn't aware of that. Interesting. Limited to mostly proprietary equipment then.
Looking for one as we speak. Already have a Farmall 140.
'had a '47 for decades. They don't make 'em like that anymore. Very versatile; simple to service and repair.
I bought my 1947 Cub 42 years ago, and it has been a great little machine. I have had no problems with it. I use it to sickle mow weeds and haul firewood in the winter. I can't believe it only has 8 hp.
Nice to see these old films. Show's what farming used to be
My Dad said, it sure beat having to turn the mules and/or let them rest and the end of a long furrow. Farmed 108 acres with it.
My grandpa said to my dad that having a cub is like having a horse with three legs
Hahaha! I take it he preferred something with a little more horsepower?
I have a DVD that contains nothing but restored farmall ads.Pretty sure that I have this one on it.
I love these old adds
Rare cause it's in color.
I just got my Farmall Cub and I'm looking forward to gardening with it. When a walk behind tiller is too hard to wrangle with and the weeds outgrow the vegetables, this little tractor will be just what I need!
damnnnn nice girl
Thanks for posting. I was born in '47 and raised on a farm in Michigan. Seen em, but never drove a Cub.
fastetsinthewest 👍🏼

I had one found it useless sold it for scrap price 400. dollars you could not give me one ym john deere 455 is a far better unit does far more
Comparing a 1940s farm tractor to a 1990s garden tractor... ok
my da has 1 of those
The vignette that was added to this video was not needed and takes away from the video.
Great video! Love the Cub!
Besides the add. The music is being played on a Theater Pipe Organ!
Rare old film, glad to see it saved. These old films are like time capsules of a simpler era of farming. Thanks for sharing!
Interesting! Regards Fred
I rebuilt a Cub for a friend, and now just bought a 1961 cub, not running. It's got most of a 189 plow setup, and I hope to get it completed with some front cultivator implements. Currently growing Belgian Endive in Maine. This video is just great. If you find one for the 189 plow, please put it up. c
