How the accuracy on this movement? I had the 6r35 and it was all over the place.

Unfortunately you just sold me on this watch. I hesitated because I figured it would clash with my 116610LN Submariner but you made a very good point regarding foreign travel.

I changed the clasp on mine to a Miltat 4 micro position one.

It didn't break the spring came out of the back lock bar a thin piece of flat metal that pins in the back of it send it in to Buck they will clean it up polish the blade and replace the flat spring for you free!

I sold a doxa and apparently i was missing 2 screw pins for sizing the bracelet...Doxa failed to provide information regarding this for over a month. Based in Australia and time and tide told us that screw pins cant be sold direct to customer and they told the person to buy a full bracelet... Doxas customer service is non existent. I will never support the brand again. I also agree, the lume on the Doxa is abysmal, for a watch rated to a crazy depth rating, that lume is trash. Had a Doxa Sub300T Divingstar.

I’m considering getting a turtle (spb317) and wanted it for all of the above reasons you mentioned (go anywhere, reliable, take the odd bump/knock). What’s holding me back is the reliability of a mechanical watch. It needs to, keep time obviously, and at that price I’d expect it to do it well over 5-10 years. I plan on this being a 1 watch collection. Any feedback you could give about your turtle (and why you stopped wearing it) would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Funnily enough, MAMACOO's replicas are perfect for people who can actually afford a luxury watch. Because in those social circles, it wouldn't matter and everybody would just assume it's real. You have a yacht and a beach house in Tuscany, of course that replica is real. There isn't a millionaire out there going around with a jeweller's loupe to scrutinize their acquaintance's watch. They'll just go "Oh is that a Patek? Nice, I should really get my hands on one of those, they look great."

This one is now my favorite after the Tudor Pélagos 42 titanium and my Longines diver. I had 2 Omega divers that I sold. I just was not wearing them and in fact did not like them much. Still looking at the high end Seiko divers too. But like you this one is perfect to go around and travel.

I think you did a great trade. I believe Squale made cases for Doxa, Blancpain and many others at one point in the past. Squale is under rated for sure. Nothing is better for the value. Beautiful Swiss-Italian with great history and good value? Doxa is an okay watch.

I love this model,i just regret seiko dont have in low price model certified cosc,i am tired of this watch who loose 20 or 30 seconds per day,with seiko you need to invest a rolex price with gran seiko for having a decent acuracy,mido with the new comander offer cosc mouvment,also frderique constant or tissot,so seiko have to react

An SPB Seiko with a shitty 6r movement could never be in the convo of the best Seiko diver ever made lol. An SLA 62mas with a 8L35 could maybe be a contender. But it’s nice to see someone finding happiness with these new releases, they’re great watches, loving the direction Seiko are going with all their divers with the 4 : 30 date and a full 3 o’clock hour marker for the awesome symmetrical lume shot !

I have the special edition tide grey I got a few months back it's class❤ nice edition to my collection which includes omega tag tudor hamilton and longines and more and this beautiful timepiece sits right up there in my top 4 in my collection it's so wearable and cool the special edition is the real stand out for me after I tryed all the available colours on the day of purchase excellent all round classic seiko diver.

I just bought the blue variant of this. Excited for it to arrive tomorrow. This is such a great option for one that wants the new Tudor Monochrome BB.

I bought one couple of days ago and love it. I think it could by the watch for me. As you say, it works everywhere. Keeps the time really good too! Seiko did my dream watch ❤

The 3 day on the dial will make you sell it in a few years when a new one comes out and that be the next "seiko exit watch" 😂😂😂😂

I seen these the other day in person. I have the 143 I like the slightly smaller size but this looked too generic compared to the 143 that looks more special and premium. The new special edition gold handed one is the best looking and I would swap that for my 143 but not at the current prices too expensive. I got my 143 from an AD for £770.

I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the MaMaCoo has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.
