This is a good way to make people understand how a word works.

Nooo. That may be the definition, but that's not how it's used. It's not "avoiding the important" its avoiding the uncomfortable . One "beats around the bush" because the thing that needs to be said is harsh or maybe a bit inappropriate.
Thanks for clarifying! I agree with you and yes, that's how I would use it too, but as you know, different regions can use the same phrase in different ways. That's why I stick to the dictionary, not just how I use it.
Which show is which?
1. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina 2. Brooklyn Nine-Nine 3. Superstore 4. Bust Down
the first one tho...
👍👍
Just found your vids. after 3 years, i love the teaching way. And im not gonna get out of your hair.
Thank you for enjoying the vids! You should never get out of my hair :D
One of the finest clips I've ever watch ( language lessons / explanation). Good Job 👍.

TNG has a great midnight oil quote that Data doesnt understand
This is awesome I could have used this when I was learning English!
Glad you liked it! Feel free to recommend it to those who are still learning English (please do lol) :D
Thank you so much
As a matter of fact = actually = in fact ?
Nice
Tysm❤❤❤
So it means the same as" indeed" or "in fact", right?
Sorry for the late response, and correct. Although "as a matter of fact" has a slightly different usage than "in fact," it's perfectly fine to use both interchangeably :)
Last ones op
Fascinating!
I love this vedio clip. As a matter of act, to feel English with our mind!

In other words, "Gender Equality" just means egalitarianism. So why not just call it what it is, instead of pretending it is something new?
We also need to stop using misogynistic words in our language. This is the worst part of misogyny. Nobody notices. Everyone does it.
Wow what a nice video, thank you for uploading this! keep up the great work!
You try to give the video more brightness it will be great if you do
