yes but thats when there IS a disc in it, it makes a different sound when there isnt one in it, this is making the sound like there is a disc in it

The main differences ive noticed from the outside is it says prototype on the bottom and the back doesnt have a sticker showing the HDMI in and out, instead thats ingraved in the case. The main differences to this console however is it has a prerelease firmware and dashboard on the console so normal controllers wont work. the drive had no games on it but did seem to have some files on it relating to folders youd typically see on a devkit. also when it turns off, it shows "SHUTTING DOWN" which no retail xbox ones did. The disc drive on top of it says its a engineering sample disc drive. Lastly when the console gets power it immediately will turn on instead of you having to turn it on

@kingfoximus i just buy any xbox devkit thats cheap tbh, idc much about what type of xbox it is, it can be a original xbox it can be a series x, if i see it and its cheap ill buy it, just 99% of the time its xbox one devkits

the game was pretty much finished i only saw a typo and a placeholder menu for the leaderboard other than that i think it actually was complete, it only released on IOS for some reason tho

I think the coolest part is how chill the developer was about me finding this unreleased port on my devkit

yeah i bought a prototype xbox one controller too (not super early probably around this xboxes time) also i might downgrade my firmware on a controller to day 1 firmware

he does have a prototype controller but his is too old, i bought a prototype controller for this xbox one that i think is more around the timeframe this xbox was made in hopefully

i got one for that much, thats not a bad price, if its in a store its also more likely to be activated as microsoft may not have seen it, id pic it up, take it apart, dump the drive and put it online and see if anyone can find any cool prerelease stuff on it, i did that to this xbox and there were no games but some small other cool things on it!😀

I am too, I have to get a controller that can get by this screen first, hopefully in a couple weeks the prototype controller i got will work but its a 50 50 chance

pretty much it will open all the scripts running, and add only a few require lines to the top all the scripts, that go to lua files, for setProperty and also getPropertyFromClass/setPropertyFromClass we use a variable to keep track of the original function, and we define the function to look if the arguments are anything from 6.3 not in 7.3, or changed, in which case with setPropertyFromClass it just adds backend. to the beggining of the first argument if it needs to, or other things if it needs to then passes the changed arguments to the original function, that method fixes lots of things but to fix notes its a whole other mess involving looking for files and folders

@@Nether84 I started the recovery project of this in our group, I knew it was repairable as all the data was there, and the build was dumped by cashmints years ago but he couldn't fix it, he used the wrong xex that was dated October, in the same build one of the xex files was September which is the one we fixed, it was a simple branch we had to change and the game launched just like that, itchy found that part, I was trying to fix the game mostly with UE tools less focused on the xex, the xex though was the right way to go
