Why why why?

​ What are you doing? Going over cow manure with a rotervator? Doesn't the tractor compress the lower layers into the ground? You end up loosing it and a lot mixes with soil. Just my experience

Will, see. As it is, I can't fit in it (the previous owner is operating it here). I need to make some adjustments for me to fit in. I bought it because it can fit through a 36" gate/door and has decent capacity. I have some ideas...stay tuned! 😊

This sled is long gone to a new owner, now (2024). I ran through a few cycles of hitting the kill switch and backing off just before it died... after about the 4th time, it woke up and took off!

As we move into the fall and winter I hope to get it in the shop and go through it as I need to make some updates and do maintenance. Keep an eye on my channel for an upcoming video.

It's a press roller I made from a piece of field tile....it firms the seed bed nicely. I have a few videos focusing on just that.

I have an electric clutch (just like the lawn mower) on it. Originally I drove it directly and the tines drove directly.

I also put a renovator blade in the middle of each set....not sure if it helps much but I figured it was easier to install them when I was changing the others. Because these blades are punched, the holes were a little undersized. I drilled them out using a concrete bit with a carbide and crc cutting fluid foam. You will need at least 3 drill bits.

The hilling plow is on the tiller in the video. You can see the "v" in the adjacent rows. The tiller has 2 speeds ...it does better in high speed. More power wouldn't help because the wheels will slip

@@Tractorsandnonsense My tiller has just has a high and low transfer case. Forward and reverse are decided from a long levered slip clutch. It couldn't make the dirt fly by itself. Just an operator that can push it faster than it was built for. You can see the soil from behind the tiller mulching corn plants about 6 inches up the stalks.

Maybe.... For that I just used a bulb pump

The windrow will get raked to aid drying. If the cutting is thin, we will take two windrows together, ahead of baling.

What's the standard spout?

@@Tractorsandnonsense It has a clear hose with plastic threaded ends, just like a VP jug. It's inside the jug and you have to screw it into the cap, but it has a very small diameter vent hose as part of the cap.

Strongway, I think, is the brand.. Northern Tool Sells them

I have a PTO driven tiller for the larger areas...I use this to pull beds (reverse rotation). The reservoir is about 12 gallons (the whole upper structure). The belt gets hot quicker than the hydraulic fluid ;)

I passed it on to a new owner. He rebuilt the belly mower deck and is using it to mow.

The flail mower is manufactured by the Bush Hog company ...Model GPF50. Thus the flail mower is a Bush Hog.
