VS♀️ Replacing Solenoid Relay (Vulcan 650)
Просмотров 1,1 тыс.7 месяцев назад
I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue with their Vulcan before... but every now and then my bike decided not to start. After a little bit of research, a chat with a few mechanical friends and my trusty mechanic... I discovered the issue was with the solenoid. So! I bought a new one and replaced it myself. Check it out. When installing... make sure you remove the negative on the battery...

It's been a looooonnnggg time since this old girl has made an appearance on the channel. Tune in to find out where she has been. You might even hear her roar to life! Hint hint! I decided not to name and shame the mechanic who took his merry time. I tried to remain sincere and friendly for the entire time I was dealing with them... mainly because I actually really just wanted him to finish the ...
VS♀️ Installing a new Battery (Vulcan 650)

I'm not sure this would be considered a 'mod' as such... but it's definitely something I've never done before... so I thought I'd give it a go. Plus... my bike was dead so if I wanted to ride anywhere I probably had to fix it haha! When I was doing my research, the recommended battery was a YTZ10S which is a sealed lead-acid (SLA) absorbed glass mat (AGM) rechargeable battery (apparently). Howe...

We finally made it home after 30 days on the road. What an adventure! It was quite a surreal feeling riding back into Hervey Bay. We are still pinching ourselves to make sure it wasn't a dream. It's pretty safe to say, we'll be packing the bikes for another epic adventure in the future. We had an absolute blast! Well the rain was bound to catch up with us at some point! As soon as we hit the main land, the clouds decided to open up. But you know what? It was allll gooood! Our gear got a little wet but the bikes held up well and we managed to dry it all out easily enough. We were thrilled to be able to ride with Ian (a Tassie local) and meet his lovely wife in Derby. We loved your groovy post office. Tassie continue...

Another "quick" mod for the Rebel before our trip to Tassie. This one has been on the cards for quite some time. You first have to get a preapproval certificate from qld transport to go for your Rel. You can get it online and it's free. I had to pay 490 all up for my prelearner course which is next weekend. That included bike hire and gear. Very excited. Worth it. I think after that the learner license itself is $76. I'm south side Bris

During the 90 days is it best to purchase a bike (what size cc can i learn on) to learn on before going for the learners course and if so is it a must or best to ride with someone with an open motor bike licence.

I am in Queensland, and I am thinking of enrolling in a Pre-learner course. After watching your video, I learned a lot😄. I have a few questions I would like to ask: 1. What are the requirements for enrolling in this Pre-learner course? For example, is there a minimum age requirement? Or do I need to have a car driver’s license first? 2. After successfully obtaining the Pre-learner license, am I allowed to ride on the road by myself? I have searched a lot of information, but the answers are inconsistent, and I couldn’t find a clear answer to my questions. I hope you can help, and I appreciate it very much!😃

Your videos are always helpful. Is there anyway that you could tell me which way the two fuel lines on the left side of the tank get connected? I think one is a fuel return and a vent maybe? My tank is marked with a blue dot but neither hose is marked. One of the hoses runs down through the bike and out by the kickstand, should it be connected to the port on the tank with the blue dot or the other port? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was hoping I could see it in some of your other videos but you didn't go that far
